The location is very central so if you want to explore the entire centro storico there is no better place. It’s close to San Giorgio station which can take you to Brignole station in minutes. The apartment itself is inside the Palazzo Imperiale which, needles to say, it’s a breathtaking and stunning piece of architecture.

La struttura è in un bellissimo palazzo dei Rolli, vicino a tutto nel cuore di Genova
Non vi era neanche un tappeto all'ingresso per pulire le scarpe ho dovuto richiederlo e mi è stato portato. Mi sono letteralmente ammalato soggiornando qui, la finestra di casa rotta, rattoppata con lo scotch, come da foto allegata, neanche fossi in una baracca, in casa quindi un freddo assurdo, ho dovuto tenere condizionatore di aria calda accesa tutto il tempo, tra l'altro pioveva erano giorni freddi e sembrava di essere letteralmente con la finestra aperta, un disagio che mai mi era capitato!
Quando si da in affitto una casa ci si assicura che tutto sia come dovrebbe essere.
Il bagno ricavato è piccolissimo, sul water non ci si riesce neanche a sedere bisogna sedersi di lato altrimenti con le gembe non ci si sta.
Supplemento di 30€ per un cagnolino e neanche a far trovare una ciotola, senza senso!

My husband and I stayed 4 days as a last-minute honeymoon after our other plans had to be canceled. We liked that the location was so central to everything around us. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and the restaurant recommendations were excellent! It was a comfortable space that met our needs well. The hosts were very responsive to our needs and answered the questions that we had. It's a great value for the money!
The only negative was it was so very cold the first night; however, that was our fault for not finding the heaters. I think that was a common theme. Even after we used the heaters, if we turned them off to leave the apartment for a few short minutes it would be ice cold when we return again. That is a feature of a historic building I believe, and not something to detract from the hosts. It's simply something to prepare for in January by bringing extra warm clothing.
