We went for Thanksgiving and had a beautiful dinner with the amazing view. It was cozy, warm and just a nice family time. Staff was available during the day for questions and access to the gym. A nice hike was close by.

Sadly got the smallest unit with limited views but lovely location for hiking. Bring what you need, it’s a long drive back to Sooke for supplies. Still under construction some noise in the am and lots of construction workers and equipment.

very beautiful views, nice trail near the property. Nowhere to eat, everything was 30-45 mins away on a very windy road. The place is heavily under construction which was not posted. The TV did not work properly and the fireplace gave off zero heat...just for show. Fridge leaked and the bedroom and bathroom doors squeaked alot, which woke up people

This place is as beautiful as it is remote. It was amazing views, beautiful cottage, it had everything except the food that you bring yourselves. I can't think of a place that a pair of binoculars should be in each cottage. They had a beautiful knife set...not one sharp knife. A nonstick frying pan wouldn't hurt either. You are inundated with emails before during and after you leave. Their online check in is atrocious, and the kicker is that they're building Phase 2, and when you're trying to have a lazy morning in paradise, it sounds like a war zone outside! Also you're immediately inundated upon entering your cottage you're assaulted with a giant list of DON'TS! Don't do this,don't do that,and the finale of your stay after paying several hundreds of dollars a night, they want you to haul your garbage and recycling up the hill to their garbage site!!!??? IN WHAT WORLD????!!! Absolutely ludicrous!

This cottage is basically an Air B&B. They ask you to take out the garbage and run the dishwasher before check out. Here are the pros and cons. Pro: great view Cons: No house keeping No dining options AT ALL No one on site after 5pm. No one to help you after 5pm. No decent grocery stores within 30 mins of driving. (There is one super tiny one 15 mins driving with very limited choice.) No access to anything else like access to water or amenity (gym require daily fee) Construction happening that is quiet but did distracted some views. In conclusion, we won’t be coming back as it was extremely inconvenient and all it provided was great view. It may work for someone but with 2 kids and senior family members it was not great for us.

Although it was a little far to drive from Victoria, we had a great time with our stay. It was a very nice place with a beautiful ocean view. The unit we stayed in had many amenities to include three TVs, two fireplaces, and power blinds. The kitchen was fully equipped. We had good communications and an easy check in. love it!

The unit and location are stunning! we loved the view and the floor to celling windows. We had everything we needed for a great stay. visually the surrounding property is not at is best as it’s under construction which was loud when we were in the parking lot but not an issue in unit or on balcony. It was quite a hike from the city on a beautiful but windy road.

The views are amazing but there is not much to do as a visitor. This is more of a condo type of rental, with nothing on site but a nice pub 20 mins away and a town about 30 mins away/Langford. They would need to up the game with more concierge advice and a pool or other activities.

Great and super clean with amazing view. Super quiet. For all of you who want a really rest and recharge this property is for you. Kitchen is excellent and equipped with great and quality cookware so you can make your own food. Super clean. Highly recommend

The resort located on a beautiful shore of the bay. You will definitely enjoy the terrific ocean views and sunsets and, if you’re lucky, the wildlife. Our unit was in a great condition, equipped with a full kitchen, tub+shower bathroom, a balcony, and floor-to-ceiling triple glass sliding doors with gorgeous view. It is definitely an ideal place to relax and enjoy the nature. The stuff was very polite and really helpful with all our questions. The check in and check out were quick and simple. The only downside we found during our stay was a total absence of any eatery on the site. So, when you go, don’t forget to grab groceries or be prepared to drive to the closest town to get yourself some food :).

Beautiful view of the ocean and bay! Lots of wildlife to see. There was construction when we stayed but didn’t notice the noise from our room. Kitchen well equipped with everything you might need.

Our stay was very disappointing. Check-in was at 4 PM, but our room wasn’t ready until 9 PM—five hours later—affecting several other guests too. The hotel has about a dozen rooms and was fully booked before a busy long weekend, but this delay was unacceptable. When we checked in at 7:06 PM, Trixie was rude and unhelpful, responding to questions with “I don’t know” and shoulder shrugs. She even said she couldn’t contact housekeeping because “they will get mad at me.” There was no place for guests to wait inside, and many waited in cars or other rooms. We were among the first to arrive but the last to get a room. Our room had multiple small issues, and when we sought help, we got an automated message saying no one was available. Our stovetop stopped working, forcing us to cook in another room since there were no nearby food options. After all this, the hotel refused even a one-hour late checkout after the long weekend. To add insult to injury, after checkout we were charged an unexplained extra cleaning fee. Trixie just gave us the general manager’s email with no explanation. We had cleaned the room, loaded the dishwasher (except a few dishes), and left garbage bagged. The only thing left out were cans beside the sink due to no recycling bin. Overall, poor service, rude staff, and lack of communication made this stay very frustrating. I cannot recommend this tell.

This was a getaway for my wife and I and it was fantastic. Serene and beautiful setting. Very quiet, with a beautiful fireplace and a full kitchen. Washer and dryer came in handy after the one rainy day we faced. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.
