Absolutely fantastic!

Its a great location right behind the highstreets. Checking in is a breeze with minimal effect en great security. The Room we were in had its own bathroom and a shared Kitchen complete with fridge shelves dedicated to rooms and an option for laundry. Daily cleaning service for general areas and very friendly staff.

Some might argue that close to the city centre might be noisy and that a room in a B&B will have other guests in the next room. We had a great time!

A great place to stay in Barnstaple with privacy, comfort, and a fabulous location!

This was a return trip for me, and the property met my needs as completely as it had on my previous visit. The room was comfortable and quiet, and I had an excellent stay. It is in a convenient location, and the directions provided were clear and accurate. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the price was extremely reasonable.

Be aware that there is no food permitted in the room itself. However, there is a very comfortable shared dining area provided for guests downstairs, as well as a kitchen with space to store any food you may have.

Pleasant enough, good location and good value for money

We could hear the other residents talking in their rooms, which wasn’t a problem, however, there’s a road outside the window that gets used as a bit of a race track. Obviously, there’s nothing the owners can do about this though, but we did find it a tad noisy

My Last Airb&b type Accommodation

Another resident in room above playing (mindless) music loudly, and then being verbally abused for requesting turning down the volume, which I can't verbalise! Wasn't sure the room had been cleaned beforehand; there were towels used by previous residents strewn about and bed pillows randomly placed - not professional, at best. Sheets seemed fine, though. No reply or confirmation to my requests by Booking.com website to both text and voicemail. This isn't the first let-down I've had with this type of accommodation, so it's hotels and B&Bs only in future for me!

Great host and clean rooms!

We stayed three nights and had to swap rooms because of availability. The host was extremely accommodating in coordinating this. It went very smooth and we could directly move into the new room. 10/10, great host and the rooms are well equipped and very clean.

A comfortable and great value stay in an excellent location

I had an excellent stay at this property. The directions were clear and thorough, and the self-check-in was very straightforward and easy. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, large windows, and an en-suite bathroom. The weather was quite warm during my one-night stay, but the staff made sure to provide a fan in case I needed it, and the windows opened easily to let in the cool evening air. The central location was very handy but also nice and quiet, and it was just what I was looking for at an extremely reasonable price.

The property specified that no food was permitted in the rooms, so I had to eat my dinner downstairs in the dining room instead. However, there was storage space available in the kitchen for my foodstuff, and a comfortable table at which to eat.

Clean room exactly as described. Towels and toiletries provided. Excellent communication with host. A nice room in a shared house suitable for short stays. We will use again.

The location is great, very close to central Barnstaple on a fairly quiet road. There is no free parking nearby, so you’ll need to is the payable car parks nearby ; chargeable from 8am to 6pm

No expectations, no disappointment

Close to the city center, the host Harun is friendly

Unfortunately, we have different interpretations for accommodation. From our standpoint, if the facility offers a shared fridge you should not find milk with mold in it, the door of the room with the fridge should remain closed to prevent seagulls from entering and leave what they can leave, the rooms should have blackout curtains and not curtains from offices from the 60s and, most of all, you should not find a Tampax under the bed. We left the room in less than one hour, i.e. as soon as we found another, more suitable accommodation with free parking

I would rather pay more and stay somewhere else

Good location for being in town. The owner came and fixed the shower door while we were out.

When arrived, the place is decorated with very cheap furniture. Which would usually be fine, but lots of it was broken. The blinds on the windows were not working which made sleep uncomfortable. In the shower, the shower door was broken and flooded. The bed was dirty. The accommodation was also freezing, we messaged the owner to put the heating on multiple times (it's not controlled in the room), he said he had but the room was still cold.

Town location was exactly what I was looking for. Everything was within walking distsnce

Parking was a bit of a problem. If an arrangement could be made that one did not have to be there at 8am to pay for all day parking that would be great.
