Bed not appropriate for an adult
Can only base this on my 1 night stay in room 6. Single bed was child’s top bunk bed. I’m a 59 year old 6 foot man not a 10 year old girl. Couldn’t get my stretch, bed was too short and very uncomfortable and enclosed. Parking was also a nightmare. Coming in late as I did you have to park streets away and walk to the guest house.

There was someone else’s underwear and clothes in the wardrobe. The cutlery wasn’t clean.

The noisiest place I've ever stayed
The location was great
When I got there the velux window was left open & the radiator doesn't work so it was very cold. I went to make a cuppa & found it had been used as an ashtray & not cleaned out & there was lots of banging & doors slamming until after 1am & then it started again after 6am 🤬 I'm very glad I was only there for 2 days. Also you can only stand up in 2ft of the room & can't even sit up on the edge of the bed because of the slanted roof.

Parking scarce and an uncomfortable mattress.
Free wifi but this is the standard now when it comes to short term paid accommodation.
I booked this property as it advertised that it had parking. When I messaged the owners regarding parking they informed me it was limited and it was on a first come, first served basis. The property has two parking spaces, I personally think you need to have more if you're advertising that parking is on offer. The surrounding streets are all residents only parking so I needed to park a ten minute walk away from the property. My other issue was my bed, I was put in the gable room where it was a small single bed in a cramped space which wasn't ideal but I could live with. On my first night's sleep I could feel the mattress springs digging into my back. When it took all the bedding off I discovered that the mattress had been put onto the bed upside down, so I had to flip and remake my bed (mattress protector, electric blanket and fitted sheet). Housekeeping should have noticed this and fixed it when setting up the room. Over all not a pleasant experience and would not recommend staying here to others.

Great location
Property’s location is very accessible to high street. The room was adequate for the price. Central heating and settings is available to a visitor’s room and comfort. Old style property that is modern and clean. Parking availability. Recommend.
Visitors might have a problem with shared bathroom. I had no issues with it.
