The Luzia House - sunny 4BR Villa with gardens, terraces, AC, on-site parking

This was our second stay at the Luzia house, and I am pleased to say it was even lovelier than the first. We travelled with our toddler, who was wonderfully looked after. Katharina provided a cot, a baby light and a baby chair and there was ample safe space for him to crawl about. The kitchen was beautifully equipped with everything one could possibly need, and the beds were very comfortable and soft. We were especially glad of the free parking and the proximity to the centre and the motorway. We very much look forward to returning for our holiday next year.

This was our last stop on our trip around Madeira, and it was hands down the absolute best accommodation so far! Everything was extremely well thought out, the house was equipped to a level I have barely ever experienced in any holiday stay. It was great to park our car on the property, and easy to get to the highway to visit all the interesting places. It was a simple walk into the old town, and we went every day for some delicious food, swim in the sea, sightseeing and good poncha bars. The beds were large and very comfortable. Weather was pleasant so we did not need the AC. I particularly loved the great coffee making facilities in the kitchen, and the nice sea view terrace to sit and enjoy the views in the morning. Communication and check in was very smooth. We will definitely book this place again when we return to Madeira.

This was our 4th family holiday in Madeira and it was definitely the best place we've been so far! So much space, many comfortable areas to relax and spread out. It felt very safe with our small children. The carport was a big plus. Easy reach from the airport and highway. In general, this place was very well-equipped and thought-through. The area felt very homy and peaceful. We walked a few times to the old town and seaside area, on the way back we walked up or took a bolt or taking a bolt which was about 4€. Also, the host was very responsive and friendly. She gave us some great tips. We can definitely recommend this house for a nice family holiday!

We were not lucky with the weather, it rained and was windy for a while. Thankfully, it was warm and cosy inside (we were able to heat up the rooms), so spend a lot of time on the living room couch watching Netflix and playing games. And we still got some sun in the mornings and early evenings

Very nice, and spacious place with everything you need - not far away from the city centre.

I think the pillows in the „basement room” need to be changed immediately. Artificial flowers only mostly gather dust.
