Bela Vista Funchal Villa

Super tolles modernes Ferienhaus. Ausblick ist sensationell. Man sieht über komplett Funchal und den Hafen bis auf den weiten Atlantik. Sehr ruhige Lage. Haus war sehr sauber und hochwertig ausgestattet. Die Küche war umfangreich ausgestattet. In Summe zwei Badezimmer mit Dusche/WC und nochmals zwei separate Gäste-WC. Zusätzlich eine Waschküche. Zwei Ecken weiter endet die Korbschlittenfahrt und es ist ein Bäcker dort. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig das auch große Familien dort Platz finden.

Idealerweise gibt es einen großen Hof für mehrere PKW. Leider ist der Hof aber im starken Gefälle, sodass ein Ein- und Aussteigen manchmal etwas schwierig ist. Aber das liegt halt an der Geografie Funchals.

Lage ist erhöht. Man sieht die ganze Stadt Funchal von der schönen Villa aus.

Garageneinfahrt war eng mit einem 9 Plätzer

The views are amazing and the property is immaculate. It appears virtually brand new, plenty of rooms all very tastefully decorated. Three double bedrooms, one being en-suite, with another in the basement which could serve as a bedroom, also en-suite. It was a lovely stay and the property owner, José, gave us a complimentary bottle of red wine along with one piece of invaluable information; to download and install an app called BOLT. It is a taxi service a little like Uber, but on steroids! So quick and efficient, I think the longest we had to wait for a car after ordering was six mins. You can track your car’s progress on its way to you. The cars all very nice and best of all cheap, probably half the price of other taxi companies, if not even cheaper. I don’t know how other companies can survive, because they certainly can’t compete with BOLT. Jose saved us a fortune with this one piece of advice.

Nothing, the Villa was perfect. Highly recommended.
