Casa PATRIZIA

This was my fourth visit to Venice but the first time I ever stayed inside the city. It was a great experience! Fulvio was a great communicator but when a conflict came up, he sent his sister Marta to meet and orient us to the apartment. She was wonderful, spoke excellent English and answered all of our questions. Fulvio also checked in a day later to make sure we were doing ok....a very appreciated gesture. The location worked wonderfully for us. It was only a short 5 minutes walk from the Piazza Roma bus station and in a wonderful, authentic neighborhood. It was only a few minutes farther in another direction to the rail station for departure on the train. We easily walked from Casa Patrizia through the entire town via Rialto Bridge to San Marco Piazza....a maze of an adventure. Unlike San Marco Piazza which was jammed with tourists, this was a quiet location where friendly residents carried on with daily life, with several excellent restaurants and pasty shops only a few steps away. The apartment was quiet despite huge windows which allowed wonderful air flow through the unit. We did enjoy someone in the complex practicing their baritone horn for a while one afternoon.

I knew before booking that access would require climbing four flights of stairs. It was worth it....but be sure you are physically able to meet that requirement to carry your luggage and every time you need to stop in.

Super Lage, schön sauber, extrem lieber Besitzer, Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern, funktionierende Küche mit Ausstattung, sehr empfehlenswert!

We were on a self-driving trip. After parking our car, it was about a seven-minute walk to the accommodation. The host was wonderful; they even prepared snacks and popsicles for the kids, and provided pasta and sauce for us to cook. The kitchen was well-equipped—it felt just as convenient as being at home!
