Ca' Luciano, wonderful view

We loved the location to the train and cruise terminal. It was very easy to get there with all of our luggage. The view of the canal from the apartment was also fun. My girls liked watching the boats from the window. The host was kind and made every effort to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We did walk a lot in order to get to San Marco Square every day for our activities.

Location is quiet but in a few minutes you are over two bridges at Ple Roma/People Mover or over three bridges at Campo St Margherita. There are many vaporette stops close by. Beautiful terrazzo floors and idyllic classic Venetian views from three bedrooms. Living room displays sketches from the owners family member “Luciano” which we enjoyed very much. Water cooker, microwave and very clean fridge. I had read reviews that there was an issue with the shower water heater, however, I think this is probably a misunderstanding by other guests, the apartment has a “Durchlaufhitzer” a boiler that warms water on demand. You just need to wait a few moments and you will have a warm shower. We are a family of four (three with long hair) and had enough water for all showers. Property manager was very friendly and responded quickly to our questions.

The dishwasher was out of service and we did not see any kitchen towels for drying dishes (we used paper towels).

Great location away from the main tourist area. Lots of great food and bars nearby. Very close to transportation stops

The property had dead smashed mosquitos all over it. In each room there were smashed bloody stains on the walls. The staff was friendly when we arrived but stopped communicating to us when we asked questions.
