A peaceful and relaxing place after a busy few days spent in exploring our family history.

Beautiful and peaceful location

It's not a big issue, but we probably would have liked some coffee sachets and tea bags supplied (to add to the milk which was very kindly supplied) - a hot tea or coffee after arriving would have been great.

Apartment was lovely and clean with a good sized smart Tv, beautiful countryside views

Where do I start? Location was fine as long as you have a car, there was no tea, sugar coffee or milk on arrival(welcome package) which was very disappointing when you arrive late in the evening after a long journey. We had one medium sized thin towel each for a 2 night stay, the only mirror in the apartment was in the bathroom, no where to see to dry your hair, the apartment was cold on arrival with only a small blow heater to heat the room which was a very dry sickening heat. Duvet covers were very thin and unsuitable when the room was so cold, shower was luke warm at best!Host requested that only the small light be used in the bathroom at night as main light was connected to the fan which disturbed the people in the house above, not very convenient if wanting to shower late at night..also no iron, on reading previous reviews I am aware that had I spoke the host he could have provided more towels, iron,maybe even a thinker duvet, I am also the manager of holiday rentals and things listed above are the basics you would expect from any host especially as this property was €240 for a 2 night stay. Needless to say we did not stay the 2nd night we had booked

Would recommend just make sure you have a car

The hosts were really accommodating and friendly. Pat replied really quickly. Very nicely set room - had the basic equipment in the kitchen and had a big TV which was nice.

Location was difficult for us as we didn’t have a car so I would recommend that you have transport secured before booking. Taxi is a bit hard to book and expensive. No tea,coffee and shower gel incase you need it.

A gem of a place with a gem of a host - definitely recommend it!

Our stay at the Twin Lakes Studio Apt was absolutely wonderful. The location is peaceful and serene, and it was conveniently close to Cabra Castle, which was the main reason for our visit. The drive in the area is beautiful. The studio itself was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for our 3-night stay, making it a perfect and comfortable base for our trip.

Pleasant place, spacious, comfortable, nice owners, clean

Size of room, bath in bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, & soap available, washing up liquid, lovely setting, well kept grounds, owners very nice & helpful & allowed us a bit longer for checkout which was much appreciated.

Thin towels, lack oh tea towel to dry dishes, would be nice if some basics were available, eg a couple of teabags, portions of butter, toilet cistern was very slow to fill.
