The Schoolhouse Largs

The Schoolhouse Largs sits in the corner of School Street and it’s location couldn’t be better. One minute walk and you are at the sea front next to a couple of restaurants. Costa Coffee, Nardini’s, a very well known pub. Everything is within walking distance. Train Station literally just round the corner. When you enter the property you are blown away by the sheer size. The kitchen is stunning, two huge well appointed bedrooms . A small discrete utility room which we didn’t use it but just knowing it was there was just an other example of how everything was well appointed. With beautiful colour schemes adorned through the flat. However what must be pointed out here is that the property is spotlessly clean and the decor, amenities are top spec. The ambience of the property is just lovely with the overhead lighting setting the mood and with the little remote control you can set the colour to whatever you like

Unfortunately, the road leading to the property was blocked because of gas works being carried out so we had to follow diversions but that was nothing. There is room to park your car right outside the property. However, if you have a rather large car, then it would be a tight fit. My Peugeot 208 fitted perfectly. There is still a lot of work to be done within the grounds of the property and the owners plans to instal outdoor amenities which sounds very exciting . The garden itself is a little bit tired eg the surrounding exterior/interior wall but that’s being addressed. As for the layout of the garden it is just lovely and what a sun trap whilst sitting out either enjoying a coffee/tea in the morning admiring the sea view or a little libation at night .

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay and we cannot wait to return

This property is in an excellent location, close to the harbour and the main centre of Largs. It was clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed for our overnight stay. The house manager even passed by to check we had everything we needed (Thank you Hazel). Every room had a tv & access to channels. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean and tidy with extra blankets. I will definitely be recommending this property to others

Lack of storeage in Bathroom for toiletries. Problems with heating. Bedroom radiator was scaldling hot.
