Cumbrae Loft

Flat was clean and comfortable with everything you need for a holiday stay. Good location. Nice big flat screen TV with Netflix, etc.

Stairs up into the flat were quite steep. Outside stairs were fine. Apart from that everything else was good.

Handy location right in the centre of town but still nice and quiet. Ideal layout for family of four with two kids. Beds were comfortable. Good shower. Friendly and courteous host.

Few little rough edges here and there but really nothing significant. Would recommend taking blackout curtains in the summer months if you want to sleep a little later.

Lovely flat in an ideal location, close to the beach and the Cathedral. Well equipped, comfortable and very clean. Cracking big walk in shower and loads of space. The host Caroline was so helpful and went out her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely break in a well eqipped and central flat.

Flat close to local cafes and bars. It was clean and a lovely welcome pack was left for us which is a nice touch. Fully equipped kitchen and lots of towels available too. Caroline kept in touch and this was appreciated.

No problems with the flat but the stairs could be an issue for older people.

Great host, communication was good and left out a lovely welcome pack and folder providing lots of information about the island. Fantastic location.

Could not use the drawers in both rooms as they were dirty and had hair in them, possible dog hair too. Strong smell of curry coming from the pipes in bathroom.

Caroline had thought of everything her guests would need in this lovely wee apartment. It was so close to everything and we celebrated a birthday lunch in the Newton which was 2 minutes from the apartment.

Fantastic value for money for families, has everything you need & plenty of extras courtesy of Caroline. Excellent location and sea view from twin/triple bedroom (this is a good sized room). TV easy to work out, oven and heating simple to use ☺️

The stairs!! 😳 aware of the stairs going round the back of property but there is a further set of fairly steep steps beyond a second close door that are rather steep - not for the faint hearted but no problem for a young family or the able bodied!!
