Anchorage is situated on the seafront, just along from the ferry pier, so is in an ideal position. There is limited parking in front of the building, so you might have to look at surrounding streets, but the main seafront car park is just a short walk away and costs £10 for 24 hours.
The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor of a tenement building and although the communal hallways and stairways are badly in need of painting, don’t let that put you off. The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished and is spotlessly clean. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and you can never tire of the views from the front window.
The communication with the owner re keys, WiFi etc were very good and we had a most enjoyable three day stay.
