About this cottage rental

Lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful peaceful location on the edge of woods though only 5 minutes from Beaches and all Amenities. Large comfortable Lounge with Woodturning Stove, three sofas (one a sofa bed), Dining Table and four chairs, TV, DVD player etc. First full basket of logs provided free of charge. Full kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Plenty of equipment provided for cooking and eating. Shower room. Freezer and Washing Machine in Hall plus extra foldaway table and chairs.

Upstairs - 2 double bedrooms - one double bed with memory foam mattress, large Velux window looking out to the trees, second bedroom 2 single beds and wash hand basin. Hall with drawer unit.

Outside - own fenced Garden plus Picnic Area and Barbecue.

Everything provided for your comfort - a home from home.

Spent a lovely few days at the Hobbit Cottage. It has a dog friendly garden and it is a short walk to Kames Bay. You can access the Cathedral of the Isles from the end of the cul-de-sac which takes less than 5 minutes. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. June, our host, was very attentive and you only had to ask if you needed anything.

Had a great time at the Hobbit Cottage. We went for a relaxing holiday and got what we went for. Accommodation and weather were great. The cottage has everything you need to make your stay feel like a home from home 🏡. Thanks to June and the dogs who made us feel so welcome, we will hopefully be returning next year. Ps Mags and Baillie loved the fenced in garden.

June is so lovely, friendly & went out of her way to help…cottage is a real home from home with everything required to make your stay very comfortable….lovely secluded garden which would have been perfect for our nervous dog but weather was not kind enough to allow us to enjoy. Next time highly recommend hoping to return soon

This property is perfect for a few days away, close to all amenities if you require them. I was there with my sister and my dog and it was just right for us. Beautiful walks, and beaches for the dog to run about. Very comfortable and has everything you need.

Cosy, peaceful, quirky cottage with its own private garden. Very spacious for us two, there is another bedroom with two single beds for additional family to join. Lots of kitchen equipment, DVD's and log burning fire etc for rainy days! Lovely host!

We had a good time in the little cottage in the backyard of June and George. Well equiped kitchen, very nice beds,woodstove, and a private garden. It was dark inside but that was also due to the bad weather.

A lovely well maintained quaint cottage situated very close to beach and shops. The owners June and George are just lovely and made you feel really welcome. Lovely and cosy due to the wood burning stove in the lounge. A very well equipped cottage with everything on hand that you could possibly need for your stay. Plenty of wood on hand to stock the fire too with a small extra fee. We stayed over the May bank holiday weekend and quite frankly didn’t want to leave. We have re-booked for next year and also plan to return later on in the year. We thoroughly recommend a stay here, just fantastic.
