More of a b&b vibe without breakfast. Location slightly out of the way (1.2km) to centre .20 minute walk

The room we stayed in did not feature in any of the photos the hotel shows online - I booked a standard double. It did not have a safe as advertised. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The window opened out onto an outdoor terrace space that was used by others staying at the hotel (people could drink and smoke on the "terrace") resulting in the curtains in our room being drawn 24/7 for privacy. There was no bedside lamp, but did have a very dim light above the headboard of the bed. The fan in the bathroom did not work, meaning the mirrors were constantly steamed up - the shower also leaked. The floors were dirty and dusty, soles of our white socks were black if we walked around the room with no shoes on. There were no plug sockets on either side of the bed, the room had a general lack of sockets (one above the TV and one next to the desk, the fridge - which was not very cold - took up the usage of the other socket). Very poor experience at this accommodation. I highly recommend looking elsewhere or booking a "premium" room so that you definitely avoid the room I was given. It was not worth the money.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. I’m truly shocked at all of the positive reviews. We travel a lot and certainly do not have high expectations or unreasonable standards, but this place was bad in every way. The room was dirty and infested with bugs, not to mention MUCH smaller than the photos depict. We asked to switch rooms due to the bug issues, as we were covered in bug bites. They offered us a bug repellent, which didn’t worked and smelled horrible. They did let us change rooms, but the second room was even worse. Not only was that room also full of bugs, and we continued to suffer horrible bites all over, but the bathroom was also full of mold and the shower was so small it was essentially unusable. The property is also listed as “non-smoking”, but the entire hotel reeked of cigarettes, and there are even ash trays provided on the terrace. I am also unsure why the other reviews describe this property as “conveniently located”, as it is actually quite out of the way from any of the popular tourist attractions. Also limited food options nearby, and the food that is around was not very good. HORRIBLE experience, and the staff did not care at all.

The bathroom was small and the door hit the bed when you opened it. It was good to have a kettle tea and coffee in the room as well as a fridge. From reading the reviews I thought it would be a bit closer to the centre, but is was just a 20-25 min walk. The room was dated and could do with a refurb.

The property was very unique in its style. The staff were very friendly and gave us a map and information about places to eat. There was a kettle and a selection of teas and coffee which was a bonus. The only thing that I would criticise is the pillows. The pillow was extremely hard and I had to replace it with the towels because I could not sleep.

I wasn’t sure if I’ve made a good choice, and actually that’s was my first impression, I saw some imperfections that only needed to tell the management and they just spent all the effort to make us comfortable and they just did it!, it’s not a 5 star hotel but they treat you as a 6 stars guess, definitely I will use it when I come back. 10/29/2023

Florence is expensive. Taking that into account, this was a good location for the money. It had everything we needed, nothing fancy but all well kept and mantained. Tatiana was great at receiving us by providing all details about the place plus how to get around the city using an app to get discounts on restaurants. Thanks Tatiana!

We found the room to be dull, it doesnt feel and looked cleaned. There was a very small TV. Saw 2 live roaches in the bathroom. Heavy noisy doors when opening and closing. Fast Internet connection. You have to go 3 blocks away for breakfast and limited choices.

I received a message from Hotels.com as I arrived at the station in Florence, to say there was no room. I went to the hotel where they were very helpful so I am sure this problem was the fault of the Hotels.com system.

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Florence. It is about a 20min walk into the centre with all of the restaurants/shops. It is easy to find when you leave the hotel if you go straight to the train station and follow the roads around. The hotel was spacious and as described on the website. It’s not very modern but it has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and spoke good English! Very good value for money!

This was a beautiful, comfortable room in a secure building with a lovely patio. Wonderful service, and a very warm and friendly staff. Right by a bus that'll get you to the center of town as well. Would come back!
