We enjoyed our stay. We loved that it was cosy, warm and very clean. We slept well in the clean beds. The host was also very communicative and responded at all times. We liked the peaceful location which is in a cul de sac. There was no sound of traffic or other noise. It was also only 5mins walk from a convenience store and other shops and take aways and 5mins walk to Bridgeton Train Stain where you can get trains into the city centre and SECC OVO Arena, for example. The place was ideal for us and we would definitely stay again.
There is nothing that would put us off staying again. If I had to be really picky, I would replace the cutlery as it was not very strong.

The only positives I will say about this, is the location is ideal and close to the city. But other than that I’m sorry that’s where the positivity ends.
They were nice enough to put up a banner and balloons, but i dont feel like i got value for money with how much i paid for this to do this.
I am writing this review following a recent stay are the above property, following a completely incorrect response from the owner to booking.com after we lodged various concerns about the property. We are now being portrayed to providing false statements when in fact all of the information is correct.
First, the correspondence with the property was minimal after arrival due to the disappointment of the property and the misleading advertisement of it.
Secondly, we did not want to raise concerns whilst within the property due to fear of being removed from the property and nowhere else to go in another country 1000s miles away from home. We have since been advised that we should have raised some concerns prior to vacating so they could have been rectified. However, some of the matters raised aren’t something that can be fixed in a couple of days. I’m sorry but with how subpar some of the amenities were in this property I am completely disappointed
The below comments are the reasons we made a complaint to booking.com;
- The ensuite bathroom, this was a main reason why the property was booked as my wife has mobility problems so needs easy access to the bathroom and level access to safely bathe. We knew the property had stairs, but this wasn’t a concern as I was able to support her up and down them once a day. But back to the backroom, there was quite a foul smell in the room which prevented us from wanting to use it, leaving the door open for long periods of time made the bedroom smell of this odour as well. Which then meant we avoided using this the whole stay which was a complete inconvenience with my wife’s physical difficulties.
- The furnishings, whilst I understand the property is for us to be able to have a bed for the night it was the most uncomfortable experience, everything was quite outdated and quite uncomfortable. Again, very subpar standards given how it was portrayed in the photographs.

Very warm, no blind in bedroom so no privacy and very difficult to get to sleep. Unable to open front bedroom window so property very warm. Expected more when paying a premium price £435 for a single night stay.
