Stay somewhere else
When I arrived it was not possible to access the apartment because incorrect directions were provided by the host. When this became clear I called the host and sent numerous messages. After replying to one message (with incorrect information) the host did not pick up or reply to any subsequent messages. I arrived at 7.0pm, well in advance of 8.0pm check in deadline. When I had no reply from the host, I had no option but to look for a hotel room for the first night of my stay, without reservation, at 8:30pm. Later that evening I did hear back from the host, at around 10:30pm with further directions, however I had found/ paid for a hotel room by that stage. Following my stay, I sent my bank details and the hotel bill for this first night to the host giving them the opportunity to cover this, which one would expect they'd want to do, with apologies, but they refused. On a separate point, the apartment does not have a tv so the ad is not accurate.
