Residenza d'Epoca Palazzo Salviati Quaratesi

I came across this hotel completely by chance on Booking and we absolutely loved our stay. The location is right in the city centre, just a seven-minute walk from the Uffizi Gallery. It was easy to find, and the reception staff were welcoming and explained everything clearly. The historic building is beautiful but the room itself feels like a work of art. The ceiling takes your breath away when you first walk in. Lying in bed and admiring it was an experience in itself—it almost gave the Uffizi a run for its money! The room was huge, with a very large, comfortable bed and two additional beds. The bathroom was equally spacious, with an enormous shower, two sinks and excellent lighting. Everything was spotless, including the bed linen and towels. Despite the windows facing the street, the room was wonderfully quiet and we couldn’t hear the neighbours either. The air conditioning worked perfectly, as did everything else. Our room was on the fourth floor with no lift but with our small suitcases, this wasn’t a problem. Carrying them upstairs was well worth it for such a beautiful room. We loved every moment of our stay and would definitely return. We’ll happily recommend this place to others!

The location was excellent. The room and bathroom were of good size, well decorated and very clean.

The room we had was up 4 flights of stairs, and there were no kettle nor drinking cups in the room.
