I absolutely loved the location of this place. It is situated in a historic palace, within walking distance of Florence’s main attractions, which made it very convenient for exploring the city on foot. I was especially happy with the air conditioning. After reading some recent reviews, I was a little worried that it might not work properly, but thankfully it worked very well and provided a lovely, cool atmosphere to relax in after walking around the city in the summer heat. The room was also very spacious, and I absolutely loved the frescoes on the ceiling. They really made it feel like I was staying in a real palace, which was a wonderful experience. The staff were nice and helpful as well.

First of all, there are a lot of stairs. It is described as being on the second floor, but in a palace this feels more like the third or even fourth floor of a standard building, and there is no elevator. So if you have difficulty with stairs or walking, this might not be the best choice for you. I also think the cleaning could be improved. There was some dust in the room, and the place would benefit from a little renovation. For example, there were some small holes and imperfections in the shower and on the walls. Another thing I found inconvenient was the very short check-in window: from 3 to 6 p.m. I understand that this may be necessary for organisational reasons, but with such a limited check-in period, I would expect luggage storage to be free. Instead, it costs €5 per item just to leave your luggage on a shelf in the office. I found this rather disappointing, as it can feel like an additional way of charging guests. Overall, I really enjoyed the unique atmosphere, the beautiful frescoes, the spacious room, and the excellent location. With a little more attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and guest-friendly policies, this could be an outstanding place to stay.

Air conditioning not working so felt impact of heatwave during our stay

Hygiene was good and it is really close to Piazza.

There was no elevator and also there was a problem about check in because they close the reception too early.

La habitación era bonita

El trato de las anfitrionas fue absolutamente detestable. Hay 2 problemas, uno irresoluble El aire no funcionaba ni medio bien por mucho que dijeran… y podían arreglarlo pero no lo hicieron en nuestra estancia. Ni lo intentaron La habitación estaba al menos a 31ºC a pesar del aire y me decían que era normal porque la habitación es muy grande para ese aire. Yo personalmente se bastante de este tipo de aparatos y puedo asegurar que o estaba sin gas o simplemente estropeado. El problema irresoluble es que no tenía ascensor. La habitación está en un 2º piso tan alto que es como un 5º… y llevábamos 4 maletas grandes… que subimos por las escaleras como pudimos.
