The room was huge, lots of space. The bathroom and shower were good. It is close to restaurants and walking distance to everywhere is Florence.
The mattress was old and very soft, not comfortable at all. Also, there is a night club in front of the building and even though all windows are noise proof we were still able to hear the noise on the streets of music and people talking, make sure to bring ear plugs.

Good location, easy access to areas around IE: food, shops, trains, etc.
The shower was broke, so we had only the use of the hand held sprayer for showering. The Air conditioner didn't work and it got hot in the room. We left the window open at times for cooler air at night, but the noise from the bar outside was so loud w people screaming and hollering the more they drank, that it was harder to sleep.

Historical in every sense, great story as you enter then when you get to rooms the ceilings and decor reenforce the historical nature of the building
Aircon unit not sufficient for the size of the room, damp smelling bathroom, this was only due to there being ZERO ventilation in there. Location is good but Bar opposite was VERY loud, patrons outside until midnight then reverberating bass until around 3am. Double Double glazing didn’t do much! So, a hot / loud / historic room to sum it up. Also, cockroaches in the courtyard that went to kitchen of the restaurant below
