The staff offered excellent service! We contacted the hotel several times through Booking.com to ask questions, and the staff responded quickly every time. They were also very kind when we had an accident in the hotel room, and offered to waive the damage fee. We also enjoyed the location: super close to Yamanote line (easy access to Ueno and Ikebukuro), family-friendly food options nearby, groceries and other shopping. We also noticed young children in the area, so it seemed like a safe residential neighbourhood. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. There are AC units in the bedrooms, ensuring a comfortable temperature. We also used the washer/dryer several times during our stay; beware that the dryer is not the same as those in North America and does not dry your clothes completely.

The apartment offered a kitchen to make meals (we made simple breakfasts), but unfortunately not enough room for everyone to sit as we had three adults and two children. I think 3-4 adults could find this apartment comfortable, if the tatami room is used as a sitting room rather than a bedroom.

Grear location close to Yamanote line and Don Quixote, McDonalds,Lawsons and Family Mart on the way to and from the train.

Occasionally a bit noisy bevause it is close to a freeway and intersection, but to be expected because you are in the City.

There wasn´t much dishes available, only 2 mugs, no glasses and only one set of fork and knife. Only one air conditioning in the bedroom so the kitchen area was very hot and humid. There is a washing machine but nowhere to hang the laundry. No English direction on how to use the devices and how to manage the garbage. It was also a noisy area during the night.

The apartment is very small and not suitable for more than 4 people. We booked 3 rooms apartment for 5 people. There was no mirror, limited hangers, and barely any space to open our luggage in the room. However, the location is convenient (UGUISUDANI STATION) and close to UENO, which is the main plus point. Would recommend only for short stays or travelers who don’t mind tight spaces.

The noise levels were quite high, which made it hard to relax. The kitchen had very limited utensils, making it difficult to cook.
