The resorts require a credit card at check-in to cover potential charges for damages, liabilities, and incidentals. If there are resort fees those will need to be paid directly to the resort as well. The owner is responsible for providing the Guest with reasonable notice of any such inconveniences of which the owner becomes aware before or during the guest’s stay.
