Our stay at Alila Marea was pure California coastal luxury—breathtaking views, impeccable service, and the perfect peace
Beautiful location & ocean views. The pool area and fire pits were amazing. Loved that there was a beach concierge. Absolute 5-star luxury. It’s adults-only, 21 and over which was perfect for our aunt-and-niece staycation. Even though the hotel was sold out, it did not feel crowded. Due to the smaller boutique size, it was quiet and had high staff to guest ratio, and every amenity was perfect.

Nice staff but check in was and hour late … nearly 5 and commuting with us about when room was finally ready was poor. Shower glass door has dropped and scratches on threshold of shower.. quite dangerous … told front desk but wasn’t fixed

Beautiful location and very calm and clean aesthetic. Service was great at front desk and pool area. Very friendly staff.
The size of the pool and pool area is way to small for this “resort”. For a place to have over 100 rooms it’s extremely small. Not enough chairs and cabanas either.

Perfect Sunsets
The property sits perfectly above the Pacific Ocean. The staff made my stay a wonderful experience and were extremely friendly. The sunset views from the room were amazing.
