A cozy, welcoming and friendly stay with great view of the lake. The host is amazing, going out of his way to make your stay the best it can be. The house is well kept, well-sized rooms, comfortable beds, good WiFi and great breakfast! Do book your parking lot in advance. There is free parking available nearby but few spots and you don’t want to be driving around looking for parking. We will certainly go back!

A great place to stay. We felt very welcome right from the start and it has everything you need. A place we would love to come back to. Not only because of the nice location in a quieter and less intensily touristed area of Lake Como; but above all, because it is a place in which you feel like "home" with the hospitality, service and very kind host. Also the attention to detail is very high. Nothing seems left to chance and the host provies a lot of conveniences, including a very detailed and intricate manual for all relevant attractions and ideas for activitives. Great place with a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing holiday.

We had great stay in studio family room. There was beds for all four of us and washing machine and large fridge. Air condition was good. What was best in our stay was the host Massimo, who helped us greatly. Breakfast was superb and service in overall.

The Casa Della Música is the BEST B&B we've ever had the pleasure to stay at. If you are excited (but clueless!) tourists finding themselves in Lake Como, this residence is the only place to stay! Actually, I'd recommend this place to everyone, no matter their experience! Massimo is the BEST host we've ever had-- from making the most amazing plates of food to assisting with locating car rides and finding personalized activities during your stay, this guy covers all of your bases so you don't have to worry one bit! The rooms are tidy and cleaned by the host himself, and below I've included photos of the amazing views from and near the location. From the host to the rooms, and the food and personal assistance, we have no complaints whatsoever- only positives! Massimo crosses the language barrier to show his genuine care for you during your stay, and his personality is like no other! We never had to worry or stress, and our stay here ended up being our favorite part of Italy itself! There is a reason why this B&B is rated so highly; you'll have to see for yourself! Thank you, Casa Della Música and Massimo, for EVERYTHING! :)

Massimo was an extremely nice host and he prepared an excellent breakfast every day. Massimo made our day - always happy and helpful. The spacious room was very clean (cleaned every day) and had a very nice view to the lake. As an excellent possibility it was possible to have dinner in the b&b twice a week to a cost of 25 euros per person for 3 courses, 1/4l of wine and water! We can highly recommend the place and would like to come back again.

We were in Italy for 3 weeks, and of all the place we stayed, this was the best, really got the feel of being in Italy, the owner couldn’t have been any nicer, and the breakfast is to die for. We stayed on the 3rd floor that offered a front and rear balcony, just amazing

We had the superior room, which was huge, very comfortable, and has a wonderful view of the lake. The host, Massimo, is incredibly nice and friendly. The breakfasts were great and plenty to eat! The B&B is also just around the corner from the train station so perfect for getting around the lake. If we’re ever back in the area we’ll certainly be staying here.

Our recent stay at Casa Della Musica was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by Massimo and a cozy, inviting atmosphere with a drink of our choice on arrival. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Upon opening the shutters in the morning you are spoiled with the most amazing view of the granite cliffs and the water of Lake Como which even on an overcast day is spectacular! Each morning, Massimo treated us to a delicious homemade breakfast, made with fresh, local ingredients and which kept you satiated until your evening meal. The attention to detail and personal touches of the property made our stay feel like a home away from home. The train station is a few minutes walk and connected to all the places along the lake for days out which Massimo provides all the information for in his very own itinerary book. I highly recommend Casa Della Musica to anyone looking for a relaxing, adventurous and memorable getaway.

It was a very nice stay at Casa della Musica! Perfect accomodation, 100m from beach, trainstation Olcio and restaurant. Massimo is a very friendly owner and services perfect breakfast. If you are looking for accomodation at Lake Como you can’t find a better place!

Massimo was a pleasure and joy to be around. He was a life-saver when we were stranded in Varenna - note that there are only a handful of cabs (none that would take us home) from Varenna to Mandello on a Saturday night, so plan accordingly and take the last train. Overall such a fun and amazing experience. A

Wow! We stayed here for 5 days. Massimo our host was wonderful! He helped us find a private boat tour on Lake Como. He helped us with dinner reservations and we especially loved the private dinner with the elderly cook. We took the train to Varenna and then the train and ferry to Bellagio. Very close to the train station. Great breakfast. When the last train accidentally took us to Varenna instead of Olcio he even offered to come get us but we ended up finding a taxi for $23 euros. He is truly a Super Host!

We enjoyed the stay at Casa della Musica. The owner is very friendly and very accomodating. We went by car and that was perfect by having the opportunity to park in the house's garage (at a very small fee) and use the car for driving around Como lake. It was the perfect position for a lovely and pleasant trip in the area.

This is an amazing place. Casa della Musica is actually in a small town called Olcio, one train stop up from Mandello. It is situated not a five minute walk from the train station. The house is comfortable, modern, and clean, with every thoughtful amenity. Massimo is a delightful host. He took such good care of us throughout our stay. Breakfast every morning. Suggestions on things to do. Chatted when we wanted to chat. Left us alone in the garden when we wanted to be quiet. He is the host by which all future hosts will be judged! Just book your stay. You won’t regret it. I’m already ready to go back.

My partner and I had an amazing stay at B&B Casa Della Musica in May 2023! We stayed in the Mozart room which was huge and had an amazing view of the lake, the bed was so comfortable too - one of the best we've ever stayed in! The best part of our stay though was the host Massimo, he was just incredible! He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing us with train tickets, giving us advice on what to do/see and even buying a special cake to help us celebrate my partner's 30th birthday :) He was always on whatsapp to help us, even when there was a landslide which affected trains he stayed in constant contact with us to make sure we got back to the B&B safely. The breakfast was super delicious and all made by Massimo himself, honestly we couldn't have asked for more! The area itself is great, really quiet and so easy to get into the more touristy areas (only 20 mins to Varenna & Massimo provides you with the tickets). There aren't many places to eat but Massimo recommended Villa Maggio (10 min walk away) where you get an amazing home-cooked meal for only 20 euros per person, definitely recommend! We hope we will be able to come back one day, thank you Massimo for everything!!

We had the best stay at casa della musica with Massimo. He was the friendliest and most accommodating host, happy to help with directions and recommendations for places to visit and eat! The room and balcony was perfect, with a stunning view of the lake and mountains. We would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone. Hannah & Liam :)
