Highly recommendable

Stephano and his family were very welcoming. Although we arrived late we found him expecting us. Breakfast was freshly made and very good. The place is very old on the outside but has been thoroughly renovated on the inside.

Tranquil hideaway at Lago di Como with fantastic host & food

Stefano is a very welcoming host and helped us with fantastic recommendations for hikes and activities. The room was sparkly clean and very modern, with a comfortable bed and AC. It’s beautiful hidden spot and the osteria is fantastic. We enjoyed the tranquility and originality of the location a lot - sights, more restaurants and towns were in easy reach by car.

Most probably the kindest and most helpful people around :) Great location (here you experience Italy in it’s utter form); Great offer of traditional italian breakfast and lots of choices for dinner. Rooms are very comfortable. absolut fantastico!

Nice location high above the lake. Pleasant walks nearby. We were a late arrival - we were provided excellent photo directions to find our room - it was fun! A lovely breakfast with local produce. We returned with our newly wedded daughter and her husband for an evening meal.

Delightful stay in medieval Italian village surrounded by stunning views

A delightful authentic stay in a medieval Italian village . Such an experience being hosted by an Italian family and eating in their family restaurant . The whole atmosphere of the village and the narrow alleyways and views down to Lake Lecco Free parking 50 metres from accommodation .

The village was a 30.min uphill walk from Mandello del Lario but there was a taxi if necessary .

Friendly welcome from Stefan. Beautiful location in hills, but a distance from train station, quite a walk. Room was lovely. Breakfast was good quality. Ate In restaurant one night which was delicious.

Excellent place to stay, wonderful hosts, definitely stay here

This was a fantastic place to stay, Steffan bent over backwards to help us. Everyone was friendly and cared for us, which made our stay all the better. The room was beautiful.

A little gem of a B&B in the Italian hills.

Beautifully decorated in a rustic style in keeping with a traditional Italian home. The whole place felt like something out of a Italian novel! Our room and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. The restaurant was friendly and comfortable with a lovely outdoor terrace. Our breakfast was fresh and delicious. We stayed for dinner each evening we were there and the food was prepared and presented to such a high standard we could have been in a top class restaurant. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. We hope to return some day!

Exceptional food from the trattoria. Breakfast is good, but make sure you eat there in the evening.

Our room was on 2 levels with a very steep ladder to get up. We are reasonably fit but it was a bit of a struggle at night climbing up and down. Also it was a heat wave and the air conditioning wasn't really doing anything for the upper level, although a fan was provided.

Exceptional

Alla Torre del Barbarossa feels like something out of an Italian novel or a movie. The house is located in the most charming little village and the accomedations are so lovely. The room was very clean and tidy with a cosy and homey feeling. Bed and breakfast by day but starting 19:30 the best restaurant/home cooked meal you'll ever enjoy - I would return to this place just to have a second taste of that lasagne and gnocchi. Thank You so much for creating such a lovely place to visit and stay at.

We stayed here for one night to explore this charming little village and its surroundings. The main building and its patios are wonferfull, and our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was also nice.

Great place in a pittoresque location!

The place is very cute, cozy and calm. The staff is really great and welcoming. They try to accommodate you as best as possible and are very friendly. It's ideally located in an old village with pittoresque little roads. Great for a get away with great service.

Un véritable coup de cœur ! La chambre était spacieuse, impeccable et très confortable. Le lieu charmant, dans un petit village typique et paisible, loin de l’agitation touristique du lac de Côme. On s’y sent immédiatement chez soi, que ce soit dans les chambres ou dans les espaces communs. Stefano a été très accueillant, et disponible, il nous a donné de très bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et délicieux. On a dîné deux fois au restaurant tenu par la famille : une cuisine italienne authentique, savoureuse et à un prix très juste, on ne peut que vous le recommander. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Für zwei Tage haben wir dieses wunderbare kleine Hotel gewählt, um unsere silberne Hochzeit zu feiern. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles sehr sauber …neu renoviert…modern Ein Mega leckeres Frühstück und auch das Restaurant ist extrem zu empfehlen;-) direkt vor Ort geht ein toller Wanderweg Richtung Wasserfall los trotz Hitze sehr schön inmitten der unberührten Natur und im schattigen Wald.

Établissement plein de charme avec accès directe au restaurant (fermé le lundi et le mardi). Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et tout le monde est très accueillant.

Afin de pouvoir profiter pleinement de l’espace commun, il faudrait ajouter à disposition une éponge, des torchons et du produit vaisselle.

Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in Ihrer Unterkunft.

Wunderschöne kleine Unterkunft, Super Frühstück, sehr saubere und hergerichtete Zimmer, freundliche Inhaber. Perfekt um mal abzuschalten und eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen. Auch der Ort selber ist wirklich schön. Kleine verwinkelte Straßen und sehr ruhig. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche hier.

Einziges Manko ist der Weg runter in die Stadt, es sind so 30 Minuten bis runter zum See und teilweise an der Straße entlang.
