Beautiful escape on the shore of Lake Como

Kaja's place is beautiful and away from the madness of some of the busier Lake Como destinations, yet they are easily accessible by rail/ferry. Kaja was a brilliant host and helped me with the unfathomable ferry timetable. She also made a suggestion to visit Bellamo, which ended up being my family's favourite trip from our days in Lake Como! Thanks Kaja ❤️

Everything was perfect

A very nice apartment. 10min drive to the ferry in Varenna. Well facilitated and decorated, staff were very warming and friendly. Also had welcome beverage and snacks. Will consider coming back next time.

Cozy and very comfy, feels like home.

The apartment feels cozy and very comfy. The view is amazing. I woke up and saw the mountains through the window. The furniture and decorations are tastefully matched. The owner is mega-friendly and welcoming; she told us about the local places to see, places to eat, and even provided us with discounts for a few places.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful views of surrounding mountains and scenery from our room, and just a short walk away from the charming Mandello del Lario centre.

Best place I’ve ever stayed at!

Lovely place to stay, Kaja was an amazing host and made us feel so welcomed. She provided lots of recommendations for the lake and how best to access places with transport and even provided complimentary prosecco for us to enjoy in the garden upon arrival. The room was clean, bed was comfy and the AC worked well. It Location was great, Mandello is a lovely area which didn’t feel overcrowded with fellow tourists yet was still easy enough to navigate to the surrounding villages. Couldn’t recommend this place more, would definitely come back!

Great Place

Kaja was incredibly helpful and guided us all the way to the apartment. She was very nice and welcoming. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the attention to detail was impressive. Honestly, it couldn’t have been better. I highly encourage everyone to stay with Kaja and Elena — you won’t regret it!

If you are looking for the best view on lake Como- here u a! Modern and new hotel with big window and terrace with adorable view! I can’t fault the property itself. Very well decorated, and well thought out. It was very clean and staff was welcoming. The only thing I could fault is the location. Nearby restaurants seemed to close early and last boat back from bellagio/ varenna was early too.

The staff was super nice and helpful. We really liked a modern room interior and exotic backyard with palms and lemon trees. Besides that we got an unexpected honeymoon present. Highly recommend!

CAME FOR THE DESIGN & LOCATION AND STAID FOR THE GRACIOUS HOSTS. Architecturally astute and inviting, this little jewel of a hotel popped up on our screens, when we were already on our way to Como. What a fortunate last minute choice! We couldn’t have been luckier - although we got the date we booked wrong AND had arrived late due to an accident on the road, the hosts were as kind as they could be - accommodating us in the middle of the night. And even breaking out some bubbly for my partner’s birthday the next day. Apart from the obvious taste exuded by the design choices, the room was also super clean and minimalist in a good way. All the little touches one could wish for when staying at a boutique hotel were still there and tastefully assembled with an eye for comfort and design. The rooms are quiet and walking distance from a pretty lido on lake Como. But the real star of the show were without a doubt the kind and gracious owners!

Had a lovely weekend stay here. The whole building is newly renovated and done up really nicely. Very close to the lake and very peaceful surroundings. Sabine was super friendly and even offered to pick us up after our train was canceled due to a landslide. Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful location in Mandello, with average beds..

Perfect location, beautifully restored building with fully equipped, clean rooms. Parking right next to the building, only the access might be complicated due to narrow streets around (follow the hosts recommendation).

unfortunately poor bed comfort, no breakfast offered (but there are good breakfast locations nearby)

Wonderful apartment with friendly host

Great place, looks like brand new :) modern interior, room was really clean and spacious. Building is located few steps from lake, around 15min of walk from the train station. In the room there was small fridge which was really nice. Amazing host, really welcoming and helpfull!

Very helpful Host Kaja, thanks to her we felt like home. Apartments are really modern and clean, that's what we like. Very beautiful neighborhood with amazing lake Como around. Very comfortable bed. Hope to get back sooooon
