From the moment we arrived at B&B-FORESTERIA Casa Della Musica, we knew we had discovered something truly special. Nestled in a peaceful corner of Lake Como, this charming B&B offers not only breath-taking views of the lake and surrounding mountains but also a warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. Massimo was excellent host, very welcoming and helpful. The house itself is beautifully maintained, combining classic charm with artistic touches that reflect the musical soul of the place. Our room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and opened onto a terrace with a view that looked like it came straight from a postcard. What truly sets Casa Della Musica apart, though, is the incredible host(s). Welcoming, thoughtful, and full of local knowledge, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Breakfast each morning was a highlight—fresh, local ingredients, homemade touches, and enjoyed with that stunning lake view. It was the perfect start to our days of exploring the charming nearby villages and walking along the serene lakeside paths.If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with character, heart, and unforgettable views, look no further. .I stayed with Massimo for a full week, and my heart is full of gratitude .The location is simply perfect a quiet and lovely apartment with a breathtaking lake view .Everything was spotless, tidy, and exceptionally clean But the real highlight was Massimo himself .a rare soul with a huge heart, a true host who took care of every detail even before I arrived and throughout my stay .He made me feel so warmly welcomed, like I truly belonged Breakfast was delicious and served with so much love .I could feel it came straight from the heart, just like at home ,It was hard to leave because everything was truly perfect 💛An unforgettable hosting experience

Massimo is the most lovely person that has ever owned a B&B. Is he even real? From the very beginning of my reservation he proved to be so caring as if he we were his only and best guests. This trip was unusual for me as it was the time when my girlfriend was about to become my fiancé. And… guess what? I asked Massimo for some advice concerning good spots and anything else I needed to know to make my plan be working and doable. He helped me with organising the whole proposal and kept the secret! Honestly, we lack words to express the gratitude to Massimo. Not only for helping with the proposal but for the overall effort he put to make us feel most welcome and precious as his guests. This place felt like home with the most hospitable owner. Amazing breakfasts made right away after we went downstairs upon getting up. Massimo also helped us on the beginning of our stay when the bus driver drove away with our luggage. Honestly, if you all want to be well cared for, visit Massimo.

The only negative thing I could possibly come up with about this stay was that it wasn’t longer! It’s a bit pity that the railway was being rebuilt during our stay and the train connection didn’t function. But that’s not Massimo’s fault, obviously.

CLEANLINESS, LAKE VIEW, EXCELLENT BREAKFAST.

spent a short vacation at the B&B Casa della Musica; it was a great surprise: the property and rooms were impeccably cleaned EVERY DAY, the breakfast in the garden was plentiful and varied every day, and the view from the terrace was stunning: across the street is a fantastic ice cream shop and a beautiful beach. Massimo was always cheerful and ready to recommend places to visit. I highly recommend this property.

I know that people usually do not read long essays so I try to make it short. Everything what has been written before about Massimo and his hospitality is 100% true. He is a great host who makes your stay pleasant since crossing a B&B Casa della Musica threshold. At the very beginning we received a bunch of useful information, where to eat, how commute, what to see. Furthermore there was a guideline prepared by Massimo with places to visit, restaurants and even allergens in served breakfast. Since I’m writing about breakfast - they were great. You shouldn’t be disappointed. Coffee, scramble eggs with bacon, yoghurt, cheese, local ham, croissants. Everything fresh and served in sufficient portions. The B&B is located 150 meters from the beach which is almost deserted. There were not more than 20 people during a day. The B&B was extremally clean. Massimo made beds every day, clean the floor and toilets. When we need something we texted him on Whatsapp and he tried to helped us immediately. It was a wonderful holiday among other thing thanks to him. I recommend visiting Casa della Musica to all of you who like spending time in a nice atmosphere, far away from crowds. A simply fantastic stay in the Lake Como

I have been to lake como five times now, and this has been the best stay so far. The service was exceptional - Massimo is an incredible person. Breakfast was stunning, and the views amazingdible! Access to all the best with a vehicle was easy as parking was also available. Everything was just right!

Beautiful B&B in a beautiful location. We loved our stay here so much. Olcio is peaceful and relaxed and very easy to access by train. Just a short train ride to other busier towns around the lake. The local gelateria (2mins walk) is great too. Our room was tidy and sunny with a beautiful view of the lake. Massimo was the best host we could’ve asked for. Friendly and helpful and cooked a delicious (and very large!) breakfast each morning. Can’t wait to come back.

Massimo is a great host, who made our stay wonderful. The B&B is beautiful, great starting point to visit Lake Como. Everything was very clean, spacious and well thought through. The breakfast was very delicious and Massimo is very eager to fullfill every wish you have- he gave us great tips, made restaurant reservations and was always there to help. For the first time we booked a B&B and it was just amazing. The location is very nice and the view from our room on the lake was beautiful. Massimo was a great host and always very friendly and courteous with great cordiality. Thus, we will come back for sure!

Nice lake view and a very friendly host!

Amazing host! Very nice and friendly, good breakfast and wonderful lake view from the window/balcony. Also garage parking! We would definitely come back and recommend to everyone who wants to see the lake and stay for a few nights.

It requires some time to connect with other popular venues but it was perfectly fine for us because we had a car. Driving around can be a little challenge because the streets are tight but we were used to that :)

Lake Como experince.

Massimo, as the name means, is just the best host we ever knew, and also became our friend. At the Casa della Musica, there is attention to every detail that can make the stay enjoyable. It was a fantastic experince. The place itself, little Olcio, is also nice, bucolic and well located in the midlake area of Como. There is a train station very near that takes you to a City, Varenna,where you can take a boat or a ferry that crosses to the beatifull cities of Bellagio and Menagio.

I had a delightful time at Casa Della Musica!! The owner, Massimo, is the loveliest person you will ever meet! He made me feel right at home. The room was clean, spacious with a very big balcony all around the room enjoying fantastic views over Lago Como. The bed was comfortable and there was also a small fridge and a TV in the room, though I haven’t used either. Massimo prepared a superb breakfast with a bit of classic music in the background. I highly recommend this accommodation!

The best hospitality I have ever. Massimo is excellent host and very helpfull. Everything was ok : The room was very clean,, fully equiped and big balconies with great view to the lake. breakfast very good. We had an exceptional stay at Casa Della Musica There is a reason this accommodation has a review score of 9.8! Massimo goes above and beyond for his guests. For example, the first morning at breakfast, we were offered coffee and tea. My daughter mentioned she liked fruit tea but it wasn't one of the possible choices, however, Massimo went and got it for her the next morning. The breakfast was diverse (not just sweet like you're used to in Italy) and delicious, with soft classical music playing in the background. Massimo's cousin even offered us a cake he made - it was one of the juiciest cakes ever! Another thing that was incredible, was the book of recommendations of all the things people visiting lake Como can do during their stay ... in four different languages! I don't recall ever seeing books like this at apartments/B&Bs, maybe at a hotel and even then, they don't make as much effort as Massimo did, with all the transport/time tips. The village is cute and small, the beach is 2 minutes away, you only have to cross a tunnel. It is very peaceful and Varenna is only 10km away. The road is really nice on that end of the lake, so everything is easy to reach. Then you can take a boat trip - we did the central part of the lake, which is considered the prettiest and we loved it :) We really want to go back to lake Como and when we do, we will definitely book Casa Della Musica!

The best hospitality I have ever experienced when traveling. Owner Massimo gave us a tips for a day trips, you don'r need ro be prepared upfront, as Massimo has a guide for nicest places to visit on the lake Como. The breakfast was great (everything you can think of - salat, cheese, eggs, salami, fruits, croissants, cake and the best cappuccino!). The room was spacious, clean, have everything you need. Beds comfortable. Massimo will recommend and book nice places for a dinner nearby. Thank you Massimo for everything!

Perfect stay from beginning to end

First of all the host - Massimo. Easy communication before and during the stay. Detailed information about the accommodations and surroundings e.g. restaurant options in Olcio beforehand. He is always easy to contact if questions arise. Massimo is an open, honest, lovely host, who still manages to give enough space to his guests. The Mozart Room in the attic is spacious and nicely furnited with really comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. The small details make all the difference like shower gel and swimming towels and oropax! There is the train station nearby - but no night trains and during the day only once an hour. So please do not let this keep you from experiencing the Casa de la Musica! The breakfast was rich with cheese, eggs (scrambled or omlette), vegetables and fruits. Also Cappuccino or tea was available. The lake is beautiful! There is the option to hike in the nearby mountains. Olcio is a nice Italian village with a gelateria, original food and all the atmosphere you need for an relaxing vacation. Thank you Massimo at Casa de la Musica - we had an awesome time at you B&B!

Our room, the view and breakfast were fantastic, but our stay wouldn't have been what it was without our host, Massimo. Massimo was on hand for anything we needed - simple things like ordering a pizza when we arrived late, having train tickets available to purchase on site, extensive recommendations and advice...not to mention the best scrambled eggs we've ever eaten! The B&B felt like a home away from home - the views, the comfort, the nearby gelateria, the proximity of the station...we couldn't have asked for more. We stayed in the top floor 'Mozart' suite, which was extremely spacious and had everything we needed. The view was exceptional and everything felt clean and modern. Our room was refreshed every morning with teabags, clean towels and a freshly made bed. The shutters on the doors also meant the room was completely blacked out, which allowed us to get a great night's sleep!

Olcio is a wonderful and quaint little village. The beach is within a few hundred metres and there's a train station and gelateria on the doorstep. This would be a perfect location if you are looking for a quiet holiday. However, it is worth noting that you will need to get a train to another town for dinner and/or nightlife as there are very few places to eat/shops within walking distance. The last train is also early - around 8pm - which somewhat limits dinner plans. The bed in the room is comfortable but on the firm side for those who prefer a squishy mattress!

Perfect B&B with very nice host

Massimo is a perfect host. He already sent us instructions on how to find the way best one day before arrival. And this continued throughout the complete vacation. He reserved Restaurants for us and gave us tips for the day. The rooms are cleaned every day (we've never had such a service in any other B&B) and we could get new towels on demand. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking Lake Como. Massimo prepared a superb breakfast with a bit of classic music in the background, no better start is possible for a perfect stay at the Lake Como. The B&Bs location is great to explore all of the lake, as Varenna, with ferry connections to several other places, is just 10min away and the eastern coast can even be completely visited by train (Massimo even has train tickets available for his guests). We'll surely come back😊

loved every minute!

We absolutely LOVED staying at casa della musica in Lake Como. It was the perfect spot to stay - an incredible view of the lake, close to lots of beautiful swimming spots and lovely restaurants. It was also right near the train station making it so easy to catch the train to Varenna and then the ferry around the golden triangle of varenna, Bellagio and menaggio. Even after visiting the very well known spots of Varenna and Bellagio, I would definitely rather be staying in Olcio at casa della musica. It’s so peaceful and you can really escape the crowds while still being close (also, the food at the restaurants are much better in this area than those in the super tourist-y areas!) The owner of Casa della Musica, Massimo, is the loveliest person you will ever meet! He made us feel right at home and was so helpful with anything we needed - whether it be advice on the area, train tickets or restaurant bookings. He made us a lovely hearty breakfast every morning and our room was super comfortable, spacious and homey. We will definitely be back at lake Como one day and we will definitely stay with Massimo when we return!
