I recommend the path from the train station that is longer, but has no stairs. The hotel is beautiful, but we were experiencing a heat wave and the air conditioning couldn’t keep up with big rooms and high ceilings. The staff was extremely helpful.

The property was the most beautiful of all properties that we stayed at during our 3 weeks in Europe. The room was large with a beautiful bathroom, lots of character and the most wonderful views. The included breakfast could not be faulted and due to an early check out on our last day, the staff put together a breakfast box to takeaway so that we did not miss out. The staff were friendly and hospitable. The accommodation was conveniently located, and easy walk to town and the train station (stairs required). Also a lovely 5km walk to Portofino.
