Located in York, this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment lets you experience it all. York City Walls and York Grand Opera House are just a short walk away, so leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking. After funding the lock box (will need the What3Words app) otherwise is difficult to find) Is just opposite the car park entrance for this building. The apartment is very clean and a very good welcome pack. The coffee pods were really nice. There are 3 fans and also an portable air-com unit which was amazing to have in the warm weather. This made the apartment comfortable. On suite toilet has a large walk in shower which was also very good. Everything you need is there and more. Beds are comfortable too. Sky tv (not HD, i paired the sky remote to the tv for ease and also set the ondemand download format to SD too as we got the Upgrade subscription when as was set to HD) Again, this was a nice addition to have Sky Q with all the tv subscription apps there (you will need your own login) Communication was very easy and was quite quick too.
The only very margin negatives are, add between 2-5 minutes to the advertised timings to the local attractions. Iron board could do with a thicker cover, (we used a towel on top to help with ironing)
As I said, only very margin negatives. Still score 5*.
Next time we go to York, this will definitely be our go to apartment, it is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in, in York and is also a bonus to have a secure car parking space included. (We have been going to York on average once or twice a year for past 4 years between family breaks or car experiences at Tockwith race track) I would highly recommend this place.
