Gorgeous place for a view of Cat Ba and Lan Ha bay. Bit removed from Cat Ba Town if that is the experience you want. Lovely facilities, great food, helpful staff.

This was a beautiful resort in a very nice location. Unfortunately, two of the pools were closed when we were there for maintenance and the weather wasn’t very nice so we were unable to use the beach facilities. There was only one restaurant open for supper dining options. We had to pay for a shuttle into town or you could walk about 20 minutes. It is a bigger resort and felt a little bit more impersonal than some of the smaller properties we’ve stayed at on our trip to Vietnam. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, you didn’t get as much of a personal touch as you do in some smaller places.

Huge hotel with 3 buildings. We didn't realise how big so it does take time to get to your room but it is really clean and spacious. We had no problems with the room, it was great. The breakfast has a lot of variety and it's very good. The pools are also nice and quiet and there is direct hotel access to cat co beach 1 and 2 is amazing. They also arranged a tour for us of Lan Ha bay and it was brilliant. We got collected right from the hotel and left back. Location was slightly out from the main town of cat BA about 15 mins walk but it didn't bother us, they also have shuttles if you want to use them to get in.
