Blue Lagoon Cat Ba

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property is surrounded by beautiful nature, and we were welcomed by friendly dog and the sweetest little kittens. There were literally tons of butterflies everywhere, making the whole place feel magical. It is peaceful, quiet, and isolated enough to truly relax, yet conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from the city center. A special shoutout to the staff—they are super friendly, genuinely helpful, and provided us with really useful local information throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Such a cute place tucked down a peaceful street next to a lagoon. Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful and made us a delicious breakfast. Hiring scooters was helpful to get into town.

Access to a fridge in our room would have been useful but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst! Lekker ontbijt en gezellige sfeer! Zeker aan te raden als je op zoek bent naar rust (na een druk bezoek aan Hanoi). Het ligt wat verder van het centrum van Cat Ba, maar ze verhuren scooters en hebben een taxi op speed dial. Te voet is het 30 minuten wandelen, wat goed te doen is (alleen wel warm in de zomermaanden).

This place is an oasis. Down a small quiet road, about 15-20 from the center of cat ba town, filled with greenery, the owner is attentive and lovely to deal with. At night it's quiet. It is also 10 minute walk from a lovely beach that is not one of the "big 3" (Cat Co 1-3) which we had almost to ourselves. Would recommend highly.
