The Old Mill by Chef and Brewer Collection

This hotel and bar is in a great location with lots of parking spaces. We had a twin room, it was very clean and spacious and well equipped with a TV, kettle, hairdryer, iron & ironing board. Good tea tray which was restocked for our 2nd nights stay. Comfortable beds and peaceful nights sleep. The staff are friendly and breakfast was fairly good. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent value.

Really hot when we were there, but the windows and curtains had been closed so the room was cooler. Great to sit out on the patio area. We watched the England v Norway match out there on our kindle in the cool evening. Staff really friendly and helpful. I had a QR code emailed to me for a free bottle of wine as it was my birthday, so we had a couple of lovely evenings out there during our stay.

We really enjoyed our two-night stay at the Old Mill. Helen, our check-in host, was friendly and helpful, accommodating our room requests without any fuss — though we did notice it was quite uncomfortable at the front desk during the heatwave, and would suggest management consider providing a fan for that area. The room itself was a good size and, although it lacked air conditioning, the provided electric fans made things very manageable. Breakfast was excellent and served by another friendly member of staff. All in all, a very pleasant stay, we'd definitely return.

We’ve never stopped here before but was pleasantly surprised, the lady who greeted us on the desk was really helpful very nice. We couldn’t have asked for more. She provided all the information that we needed and directions on how to get in later at night. The room was big and comfortable and clean with a great bathroom.
