Never will I ever go there again bad manement bad place to stay showers don’t work at all. Felt like a crackheads house place stunk of crack a weed. Bed was like sleeping in a brick wall. Floor was like stepping on sand paper that place needs new management new decorations and hole lot of fixing up wasn’t of my money terrible terrible don’t no go there I warn you ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Check in process not easy. Receptionist said I have no reservation and had no knowledge of Hotels.com. It took several attempts to convince them to double check and finally found the booking against my name. Room was ok but cold - radiator was very week and television not working. I won't be going back.

Walls were covered in dirt and splashes of who knows what Im guessing pubic hair in the bath and toilet Bathroom floor was sticky and brown Old and creaky stairs So hot you could of been in a steam room Smelled weird Non saftey windows Stayed here 2 hours and left Im guessing its also used for hmo and the homeless also

I mean i get its 3 stars but in all honest thats generous. The bath was black the moulde was black. The carpet had dirty stains (dont take your shoes off) the side of the divan bed looked like a dog had cocked its leg up and urinated on it. The chair in the room was that stained i dont know what colour it was. The corridor smelt worse of cigarettes then an ashtray. The guy on reception was really nice but even he couldnt make up for the stay. If i had somewhere else to go i wouldnt have stayed simple as that.

It was absolutely terrible. The stairs were filthy. The whole place stunk of smoke. My tv didnt work. He spent 2 hours fixing it and still didnt work. Cigartte burns on the floor in the bathroom. Walls dirty. Decor broken. Electric wires not covered up. I have photos. I have complained i want my money back. Shower was running cold water i think you sholud take it off yiur site.

I would say the free parking and the staff is the best bit about this hotel. To say the hotel is dated is an understatement. Rooms are shabby, one didn't have hot water. The old saying you get what you pay for lol, but here you didn't even get the 'get' lol.

Absolute dump of a hotel very poor state of repair smelly rooms. Hot water tap was not working and the shower was not working and as we stayed 2 nights even after informing the staff they did nothing. Beds are very old and uncomfortable. After making a complaint that we had no shower for 2 days they said complain to hotels.com as it is nothing to do with them. Please avoid as it is uninhabitable, simply horrible.

Very run down hot tap did not work on sink. Cold tap was not properly function mean not possible to shower and as this leaked the rest was massive loss of water. Pi. Picture on wall had broken glass and was dangerous (room 69) didn't not

When booking budget hotels there are always risks. Saturday is definitely not recommended due to music night where it is blared out at excessive levels until 3am followed by screaming matches in street. My room was above the sound system not out of place at Glastonbury. Rooms basic but expected at such low price. Not sure what other nights are like but once hotel rates in Birmingham get back to normal rates after commonwealth games there are 100’s of other choices before this hotel. Definitely one to avoid unless homeless.

Hotels.com should visit the hotel with a view to take it off there site. The hotel is disgusting and I won't let me worst emery stay there. Our room - Shower didn't work, kettle won't turn it self off, TV didn't work, mould throughout the room. Loud party downstairs until 2.30am then a fight broke out at 4.30am

Very dated and dirty. Corridors strewn with papers, grubby shower curtain, room dusty.One positive. Bedding clean and fresh.Basic cleanliness is important whether you pay low or high rate.

Carpet on the galary was very dirty and smelly. Some peoples were smoking as well outside near the parking area (within premises). Washroom fittings were old and loosely fitted.Room was clean and bed was really comfortable.

Only needed to get our head down for one night. The room was terrible! Rips and burns on carpets looks like it was decorated by a 3 year old! Opened the curtains and no exageration you couldnt see through the glass the windows were that dirty! The shower didnt work and there was mould all around the bath.The only plus side was that the bedding was clean would only stay there again if we were desperate.

I can not understand how is possible to run a hotel in such conditions!! Mold everywhere,sticky furniture, kettle defect,not enough bulbls,greasy windows,noisy in the night,no water pressure plus I had to wait at least sux, seven minutes for the warm water to run My booking was non refundable so I had to stand, being on job travel. Staff was ok, welcoming and kind The only thing I enjoyed was the bed: big enough and clean linen.

This hotel is the pits. It is dirty and has nothing appealing about it. It advertises that it has a restaurant.... it doesn't and after seeing the dirt i wouldnt have eaten there anyway. The pictures on the site are very decieving. My advice DO NOT STAY HERE

It was the most awful stay i have ever had ,the hotel was smell as i got in.There Customer service officer was not at reception when i arrived rather he was outside smoking.When i got to me room the key did not work i had to come back tho reception.There is no lift so i had to climb several flight of stirs,The room i was given smelt of damp and mould was on the window. I couldn't breath l had to request the room be changed, i was taken to 3 different rooms that were all bad, i finally settled for one i because i was so tired.The next day morning i was woken up by the receptionist and told i had to check out whereas i have booked for more than one day.also there was no heating in the room so the got a temporary heater that was electrically unsafeNo water to make a cup of tea i was told to take water from the sink when i complained.

It was as expected but as it was only before our early morning departure for the airport the room was ok. There was a lot of noise from other rooms and a lot of slamming doors from 11pm onwards which I guess is normal as when we were asked about our stay and we mentioned it he didnt seem surprised and the apology was a little half hearted.

The service at Reception was ok. The general condition of the hotel and the room was very “tired”. The hotel needs a full refurbishment. The water pressure of the shower in the bathroom was very poor. The bed was comfortable and the linen an towels were clean and acceptable.The location of the hotel was good and only a short walk to the centre of the city.

The staff were friendly the room was scruffy but the bedding was clean. but didn't get any sleep because there was music playing downstairs would not stay there again
