The Rooms at the Nook

Visiting family and then a gig at the Picturedome, this place was perfect. Can't fault

Very happy with the accomodation and service as well as restaurants and food. All told a very good experience and we would go back again and highly recommend it

There's no parking. I rang to find out where to park and was told the details were in my confirmation email. I asked if the lady could help me out and tell me as we were stuck in traffic outside and couldn't find anywhere to go. Just to update the confirmation did not include places to park. We eventually found the property but was told the keys were held somewhere else, The Tap House. We found the Tap House and was greeted by a lovely young man who helped us carry our bags to our room. I booked this place because its pet friendly and nowhere does it mention what pet or how many you are bringing. We were then told there was an additional cost of £20 for my friends dog. The room was lovely with mattress and pillow protectors. Very good quality bedding and was immaculately clean. I'd booked the family room for 3 adults as I wanted the sofa bed made up so we had a bed each. Lovely toiletries and towels in the bathroom. It was quite noisy the night we stayed but there was live music nearby due to it being Halloween. The pub underneath us was noisy but we expected that on a Friday evening. Breakfast was fantastic, because we had booked for an extra person the Manager kindly allowed us to have the extra meat options for our dog. The choice was limited but plenty of it and nothing was too much trouble. My biggest peeve was the price our room with the extra cost for our dog was £*** for the night. This is extremely high for the going rate. I have booked a room in London for £*** in a 3star establishment. Which was on par with The Nook.

Ideal accommodation for a visit to the Picturedrome for a Friday evening gig. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, from check in at the Tap Bar, right through to the service at breakfast. Room had all we needed for the one night stay. Nice and clean, very comfortable bed with beautiful quality bed linen.
