Perfect stay despite meal would definitely stay again

Location cleanliness very friendly and helpful staff

Had evening meal wasn’t the best but was advised it was a week into reopening and with a new chef so we’re ironing out teething problems but the lady who served us couldn’t be more apologetic and didn’t charge us for the food

Perfect location after watching a show at the Picturedrome, rooms nice, breakfast nice, staff busy sorting a large brunch booking so had to ask a couple of times for things but we did get an apology

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They amended my 2 bookings into one booking so I didn't have to change rooms. They were very helpful with breakfast when I asked them to pour my tea and cut up my brakfast into bitesize pieces.

Great location for Picturedrome (next door!) Friendly staff

The rooms are tired as is some of the furniture downstairs. Our room was cold and the window was draughty. The food was nice but the portions were small.

Location and staff amazing. Accommidation fixtures and fittings tired and need upgrading. Didnt meet 4star standard.

Excellent central location. All Team members we came across were very attentive and hospitable - absolute credit to the company. Restaurant and bar area well kept, clean and well designed in keeping with age of building.

Bedrooms tired and well worn. Bathroom sink stained. Bed very uncomfortable. Well worn matress which seemed cheap. Very limited parking which we couldnt access and had to park a short walk away overnight and then pay & display max 2nours in morning.

We had a lovely break. Great area. Great staff very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return.

Location excellent, plenty of signage. Breakfast was hot, fast but no indication of porridge it might be good to have that when it reopens. Cleanliness of the room was poor. Black mould all around the tap corners on the bathroom floor not cleaned and grouting dirty.

The location is amazing. Great food and Great staff! Definitely a place to stay in the summer.

If you are a light sleeper you may need to pack earplugs as you can hear the floor creaks as people walk down the halls.

Great location friendly staff

The staff were all really pleasant the chef hadn’t come to work on the Sunday morning and the staff that were in were under pressure but remained friendly and helpful and managed to turn it around 😊

Great central location but don't book room 14!

The Inn is located at the centre of Holmfirth, so in easy walking distance of everything.

I had booked a single room so my expectations were not high, but wasn't expecting the room to be windowless (there was a skylight but it was so high I couldn't adjust the blind even with the hook supplied in the room). I had no idea what the weather was like until I came out of my room into the main building. If a larger person was using the room they would have difficulty access the shower cubicle! The door to the toilet/shower couldn't open fully as it snagged against the towel rail.

Basic accommodation with mediocre cleaning. Great location.

Fab location. Nobody has vacuumed our room for a long time. A shame. It would have been nice to get some tips as how to get to the car park.

Floor/carpet was really (!) dirty. They should employ some professional cleaners. We also had stacks of Oxygen tanks and other connected Medical stuff in our tiny room. Asked a member if stuff to get it. Immediate response, apparently NHS didn't take it away as expected. Why leave it for us to find????

mainly excellent but no one at check in when we arrived - had to walk about looking for some to ask ! other than that, all ok.

check in - could have been better as no one was there to ask / speak to. a member of staff was sat at a table, possibly doing something else but she didnt even look at us / look interested we that we were just stood there waiting for a while and looking for someone. they could have just said, someone will be with you soon etc

Poor value for money.

It was clean and had everything we needed. It was in a perfect location.

We had stayed our first night at the Elephant and Castle and paid £130 for a double room and a gorgeous breakfast. Stayed our second night at The Old Bridge Inn for £159 with no breakfast and twin room. Wasn’t worth the money at all, nothing special about the room. We were in an adjoining room and could hear guests the other side of locked door. Was overlooking the street with all bars and very loud music and people obviously very noisy after a few drinks. Couldn’t sleep at all as the mattress was old and had large buttons which were sticking in my back. Bedside lights didn’t work. Room 20 was obviously last available room but should not have been charging £159 without breakfast. Absolutely disgusting.
