I love this place, the location, the accommodation, the staff, the food, nothing was too much trouble. I would love to live here, our accommodation was beautifully furnished. First class, can’t fault anything at all. Met some lovely people in the bar area. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for making our visit special x
Everything was perfect.

Location was perfect for Holmfirth which was our reason for staying. The room (Grouse) was fab, very spacious and a super comfy bed. We had our own entrance which was good too as we had our dogs. Breakfast was lovely. Parking was easy as they have a free car park over the road. Nice playing field opposite you can walk the dogs after a long journey which was useful.
The pub is close to the road, my naivety thought this was a quiet road but it is not! We stayed on a Friday night and the road was used for really noisy boy racers until the very early hours, even closing the window did not stop the sound. Appreciate this cannot be controlled by the pub but it is something that has not been mentioned in any other reviews and def affected our sleep.
