Quite an unusual place. Fanciful colorful decor, designed by someone with a sense of fun. No visible staff. No reception desk—they tell you the room number and door passcode ahead of time. A well stocked bar, but no bartender—serve yourself honor system payment. Continental breakfast is already in your refrigerator when you arrive, and is high quality (with Prosecco!) and is magically restocked daily. It sounds bizarre but it works. Everything is in good repair and comfortable. Staff is available by phone if you have a problem, which we did and they were very responsive. The big drawback is that walking to the Main Street and harbor, though close, is very steep. Highly recommend driving to the harbor parking lot.

What an amazing find…a beautifully maintained hotel in the heart of one Scotland’s most beautiful places. The rooms are a good size but the attraction is that they are exquisitely decorated and well-equipped. There are no staff on the premises but the rooms are serviced each day and the amazing variety of breakfast ingredients (including locally-sourced smoked salmon and cheeses as well as granola, fresh rolls, croissants and preserves, juice etc.)

This was a home away from home! The room was beautifully decorated and the food baskets and beverages were thoughtfully curated. The common areas of a sitting room and honesty bar were very welcoming. The location of this b&b was suitable and convenient as it was a short walk from the harbour in Tobermory. The location of being situated on top of the hill provided a vista for some stunning sunsets (yes! Sun in Scotland!!!) The property was easily accessible by car and the ample parking in front of the property was a bonus feature since when can anyone find parking right out front?We would return and highly recommend!
