The room was pleasant enough - a bit tired but clean enough. The bathroom was small but very clean with quality towels. The breakfast had an excellent choice of foods. Dinners were good - I ate from the bar menu but after being there for 4 nights, I struggled for choice. The bar staff were mostly smiling and helpful - but a couple of staff were a tad miserable looking. The daytime receptionist was really friendly.
The pool was out of order - the way it was explained was that it had just become out of action and they were expecting a fix the next day - I arrived on a Monday and left on a Friday. The pool was out of action the whole time and I learnt that it had been out of action for more than 2 weeks in total - no refund was offered for this lack of facility. I had taken my swimsuit intending to use the pool - the hot tub, whilst working, was not something I wanted to use.
