Cosy and clean room, nice common area outside the room, kind employees in the hotel and restaurant, fantastic breakfast, tasty evening meal and wine in the hotel restaurant. Hotel locatoin is central in Schleswig only 5 minutes walk from city center pedestrian street. Only German TV channels available, not a big problem, we decided to not watch tv during our weekend stay. Cosy cafe just around the corner and a vere nice restaurant/brewery (Lucifer) only 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Great location and the staff are amazing, rooms are spacious. Our train was cancelled to Kiel and the staff help us with our further travel. Would recommended this hotel you would not dissapointed.

Very helpful staff, very clean and a great location for me. I went out early on the day of departure and because the kitchen is closed on a Sunday they were not able to provide a boxed breakfast.

Breakfast was ok/fine. Location good close to the old part of town but perhaps not the most charming views. Very good parking just behind the hotel (and free). Room was excellent!! A comfort double room. Very spacious and small details in planning of the room made it one of my top stays in an hotel. Details like vanity mirror in the bathroom, plenty of electrical outlets to charge computers and phones, nice seating area are just a few exempels of details that gives a good impression. I would say it was really good value for the money.

We didn’t realize when we booked that we would not be staying in the old part of the hotel, but instead in a modern separate building across the parking lot (a bit disappointing).. Restaurant kitchen closes at 9pm, so if you are arriving late - drinks are your only options (no snacks) or possibly a pizza place that is still open so where in town. We were travelling in low season but parking lot was full - we took last spot, not sure what are the parking options when hotel is busier. Location is very central with a shirt walk to the St. Peter Cathedral and the harbour.

Get one of the rooms in the anneks and try to avoid the main building. Also, I hope they have changed the staff and hired more, the place is seriously understaffed and leave you with a feeling that you are in the way and a nuisance!

Overall good. We thought we would be in the main, historical looking building so were disappointed to be put on the modern, separate unit next door. However, it was immaculate. Very well designed, themed and spotlessly clean. Parking was limited but other than that we would be back without hesitation
