Relaxing stay in a nice hotel with pleasant views.

It’s nicely located by the sea. The rooms are spacious and have nice views over the water. Dinner at the restaurant was also pleasant and the food was good.

Personnel at the restaurant were friendly but they are too young and therefore inexperienced. For the prices they charge, the hotel could consider to also have more experienced staff. While the hotel is nicely located by water, it’s surrounded by lots of apartment buildings, many under construction, which kills a bit the charm of the location.

Good food, comfortable beds, very nice rooms, very friendly staff, very nice bathrooms. Lovely location on a beautiful lake. Very nice surroundings.

Pillows were far too soft for my liking but we did not ask if they had others as we only stayed one night on our way to Sweden and Finland.

Where to start, a beautiful building with an awesome view. Service minded, multi lingual and polite personal. Luxurious room (suite) with great beds, very nice bathroom. Very good breakfast with lots of local produce.

Really splendid location by the lake. We stopped there on our way to Danemark. Our biggest surprise was the restaurant where the wine card & the food was great. Most of their wines were organic & bio dynamic from very select wine makers which are usually not something you find in a hotel restaurant.

A delightfully located and modern hotel

The hotel has a delightful location on the waterfront just beyond the old fishing cottages in Schleswig. It is very modern and well appointed and what would be expected of a boutique hotel. The room was generous and the bed comfortable. The hotel went to great lengths to ensure Covid-19 safety. Everything was clean and well maintained. The pre-ordered breakfast was generous. We had an evening meal in the hotel and this was well presented, tasty and filling. A short walk takes you into the heart of the old fishing cottages of Schleswig, which is very historic and attractive.

Prachtig hotel met zeer vriendelijke mensen.

Zeer vriendelijke mensen bij receptie en bij restaurant ‘‘s avonds en in de ochtend bij ontbijt. Wij kregen een upgrade van een kamer met landzicht naar een kamer met zicht op het water. Fantastisch. Kamer was groot, zeer schoon en heel mooi ingericht. Bed was prima. We hebben genoten van de gerechten in het restaurant. Kortom, een super geslaagde overnachting. Aanrader.

direkt an der Schlei gelegen bietet sich ein herrlicher Blick , das Hotel ist mit natürlichen Materialien und Stoffen ausgestattet ohne altmodisch zu wirken. Sehr wohnlich und gemütlich aber dezent. Das Restaurant ist eine Empfehlung wert. Alle waren freundlich, es ist eine angenehme Atmosphäre im Haus. Es war sozusagen ein Zufallstreffer für eine einzelne Übernachtung aber hier würde ich auch gerne mal einen längeren Aufenthalt planen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Alle Mitarbeitenden des Hotels sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel hat eine robust-gehobene Ausstattung, ein wunderschönes Ambiente. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Wir haben den Blick auf die Schlei sehr genossen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist phänomenal und lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Weihnachtsaufenthalt mit Schleiblick

Wir haben über Weihnachten zwei Nächte im Hotel Strandleben in Schleswig verbracht und waren rundum begeistert. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, sehr sauber und bot einen großartigen Blick auf die Schlei – besonders in der winterlichen Stimmung einfach traumhaft. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, mit einer großen Auswahl und von hoher Qualität. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal, bei dem man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Parkplätze stehen direkt vor dem Haus zur Verfügung, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich angenehm gemacht hat. Für uns steht fest: Das war nicht unser letzter Besuch im Strandhotel.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit schlechtem Service

Die Lage ist toll, das Zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet, das Frühstück war nicht riesig aber lecker, schön angerichtet und absolut ausreichend

Wir waren zum Musical Dinner da und hatten extra dafür ein Zimmer gebucht. Es ging dann schon damit los, dass ich zu unserer bestellten Flasche Weißwein um einen Weinkühler bitten musste und uns dieser dann mehr oder weniger widerwillig gebracht wurde. Um 23 Uhr war das Dinner zu Ende und mein Mann und ich fragten nach noch einem Getränk. Die Kellnerin sagte, wir würden im Restaurant/ in der Bar nichts mehr bekommen, aber sie würde den Barmann fragen, ob wir noch ein Glas mit aufs Zimmer nehmen "DÜRFTEN". Das hat dieser dann aber auch verneint. Darauf hin wurden wir arrogant aufgefordert, dass Restaurant zu verlassen. Bei diesem Zimmerpreis (+ teures Musical Dinner, was aber toll war) erwarte ich deutlich besseren und freundlicheren Service.

Wir würden wieder in dieses Hotel fahren.

Die Juniorsuite Nr 16 hatte zwei Zimmer mit tollem 180 Grad Ausblick auf die Schlei. Die Mitarbeiter waren überaus zugewandt und freundlich.

Dass die Zimmer nur alle zwei Tage gesäubert wurden, damit kann ich leben. Dass aber weder die Betten gemacht, noch benutzte Handtücher getauscht wurden, hat mich extrem befremdet. Der Restaurantbesuch war nicht ganz so befriedigend.

Der Aufenthalt war okay. Der Hauptkritikpunkt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut .Auch die Lage direkt an der Sclei ist ausgesprochen schön.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist etwas zu einfach für ein Hotel dieser Preiskategorie ( zum Beispiel gibt es keine Garderobenhaken für Outdoor Bekleidung) . Der Aufgang zu den Zimmern über die schmale Treppe ist mit dem Reisegepäck etwas mühsam.
