The host was very amenable. The property was very clean, breakfast had a great choice of continental options and it was nice and warm for our 2 day stay.
Parking was at the rear.

We had a lovely stay at Grosvenor Villa. Richard greeted us at the door and gave us a little bit of history on the property. The room was lovely and clean with nice complimentaries stocked. The villa was about a 30 minute was to the centre, but the walk was lovely along the canal. The breakfast had a good amount of options and Richard happily made us toast and porridge if we wanted it. I would 100% recommend.

4-poster bed in a grand Georgian pile. Close to town (~1km walk along a picturesque tow path). Great continental buffet breakfast and a wonderful host.

Our host, Richard, was fantastic! Very friendly and very entertaining. The property and room were magnificent, a pleasure to stay in.
The property itself is about 25 minutes walk away from the town centre but we were aware of that when it was booked.
Only issue we had was that the room was not attended to until our third day. No bed made, no clean towels, bin not emptied etc.
