We really like the hotel, two nice swimming pools, a big bathroom and a bed with net covering to protect from insects It does not have direct access to the beach, but it's very close. It's a popular beach and sometimes can be dirty with trash, but I still liked it. The resort food is very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful Management was very un flexible when we tried to modify our stay, but at least we got a complimentary transportation to the airport

Breakfast options were rather limited. The room had some issues with mosquitoes, and the air conditioning and lights occasionally didn’t work as expected, which made it a bit difficult to rest well. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful, though the breakfast service could be improved. We were also informed about monkeys in the area, and indeed, they could access the bathroom space, so it’s good to keep that in mind. If you’re comfortable with geckos, mosquitoes, and the occasional monkey visiting during your stay, this place might be suitable. However, the lighting around the property was quite dim, and the stone walls were rather rough — we even got a few scrapes from them. There was also construction taking place across from our room on the roof, and with the open shower design, it felt a little lacking in privacy. Overall, it wasn’t the most restful stay for us, and we decided to move elsewhere for a night just to have a better sleep.

Indonesia is very hot and humid. We stayed in a villa down near the bottom pool. Sleeping was comfortable in the airconditioned sleeping pod however in the bathroom is is hard to feel comfortable as the heat is overwhelming and I come from Brisbane Australia - known for it's humidity. Further there is electrical plug in the bathroom so you cannot dry or style hair. Then no mirror near electical switch in sleeping pod or bedroom area. There is also no where to sit in the room so you need to sit outside. The lighting is very romantic however impossible if you want to apply make up.

We stayed in the Villa. Overall experience was great except I could not believe that when we requested a bucket of ice. They make you pay for a bucket of ice??? We spent $3000 in a villa, and they charged for ice. Unheard of! Also, the food in the restaurant is okay! Better off eating outside of the resort.

I’d like to leave a review of Suarga Resort in Bali. Overall, it was a positive experience, but there are definitely areas that could be improved — and this message is meant in that spirit. The resort has many great qualities, but certain aspects felt uncomfortable and not quite up to the standard one might expect from a place of this category. One of the main issues was the excessive number of paid extras — even for small things like certain breakfast items. It would be much more guest-friendly to include these, as the current approach creates unnecessary discomfort. Another concern was the swimming pool. The water seemed to have been treated with an excessive amount of bleach instead of chlorine, which caused all our swimsuits to turn yellow. Our children, who spent hours in the pool, often came out with red eyes. A better balance in pool maintenance would really help. Lighting around the paths to the rooms and inside the bathrooms is quite limited. Every step should be well-lit to prevent accidents, especially at night. Additionally, the rooms could use more hooks and hangers — small details that make a big difference in comfort and practicality. Service overall was good, though at times a bit slow. Special mention goes to Maria and Yumi at the front desk — both incredibly kind and helpful. The massage at the spa was excellent as well. One frustrating point was the way restaurant bills are handled. It’s not possible to split the check evenly among guests at the same t

I chose Suarga Padang Padang for its beautiful design and eco-friendly ethos, and while the service from the staff was warm and responsive, my overall experience was deeply disappointing. On our very first night, we encountered a severe roach infestation in our room — we found at least 10 roaches, which was shocking and unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. We immediately contacted the front desk, and to their credit, they responded quickly and attempted to fumigate the room. However, the infestation was so extensive that it was impossible to relax or sleep that night. Despite the property’s unique appeal and the staff’s efforts, the presence of roaches completely undermined our stay. For such a premium rate, I expected a clean and restful environment — not a sleepless night and a pest problem. The only compensation offered was a couple of complimentary cocktails, which felt insufficient after such a disturbing experience. I genuinely wanted to love this place, but cleanliness is non-negotiable. Until this issue is properly addressed, I cannot recommend Suarga to other travelers.

Our stay was a disappointment. We arrived late, tired and hungry and found out our room was extremely small and couldn't even fit our luggage, so they wanted to help us with an upgrade - however the bathroom ceiling was open and they kept warning us of the monkeys stealing things, so we couldn't stay there. The only room that was ok size and closed bathroom cost a whole lot more and they weren't willing to upgrade us there nor do something on the price. It's already a too expensive hotel. Beautiful views, gorgeous pool and in nature, and everything is made of beautiful nature material. However, the experience and service did not live up to the price. We stayed in many other 4-5 star hotels around Bali and this does not have the same service feeling. The wifi was barely working. It's a special hotel so be sure you know what the you're booking beforehand. If you're in to comfort this is not the place. Also a lot of stairs. Pool was gorgeous. Close to Padang padang beach, but the beach is a bit dirty, although it has nice vibe.

Absolutely loved my stay here at Suarga and it is probably one of my favourite hotels ever! Felt so welcomed by the staff right from the start and throughout my stay, the rooms were gorgeous, the pool at sunset was magical, hearing the ocean waves through the shutters, the beautiful wood floors in the rooms, seeing monkeys swinging around through the trees… it was wonderful! Would love to return again some day!

We had a bad stay. From the check-in service that was not good, they never explained how the hotel worked to us, to when we wanted to check out and there were no people at the reception at 6 am. Very uncomfortable bathroom outside the dark room. We bought a CocaCola at the bar and when it arrived a bee felt inside the glass., we asked for it to be changed and they wanted to charge us. The breakfast is terrible, they charge you separately for everything. We expected much more from the hotel. We leave with a bad feeling.

Great place to stay overall and great location with excellent staff. Only slight downside for us was the early room cleaning calls and constant noise from the main road nearby however this can’t be avoided. The morning room cleans start at like 9am/9:30 which was too early for us and there was a bit of a language barrier when we asked to be the last room cleaned however generally overall; a great place.
