It has a good location where you can get to Padang Padang beach quite easily and has cafes and restaurants and shop easily accessible. Uluwatu as a whole though is difficult to get anywhere without a scooter or car. The staff are the thing that makes this hotel, they’re amazing. The decor is amazing. The style is done so well. The pool was very nice. Facilities were good. The WhatsApp system was great. The staff were always cleaning and making sure everything looked nice. Breakfast was very good.

There was a male guest who was trying to get in my room in the night due to them being drunk and confused but security were present and the reception ladies the next day jumped into action and were extremely helpful and rectified the situation to make me feel safe as a solo female traveller. The staff made everything so much better. Also one night I was laying in bed and a maggot/larvae dropped down from somewhere? And fell on me, I’m not sure where it came from. The window and door had been open so maybe it had come in through there. Not sure. But easily caught and removed. Just maybe thought the hotel should know incase having an issue with this?

Excellent hotel in a good location

We really enjoyed our time at the room. We had read reviews about the rooms being noisy because of the nearby road. This was never the case for us at all. Perhaps we stayed in a well located room (room 12), but it was very peaceful with a nice balcony that overlooked the hotel and pool area. We spent a lot of time at the really nice pool and one of the perks is that you could get teas, coffees and iced coffees for free at any time. We got lots. I've never seen this perk before but it was a real plus for our time there. The breakfast itself every morning was quite large with a few different choices. It didn't blow out socks off but it was also a few nice addition to our stay. The room itself was also excellent and had everything we needed. A mini fridge was handy and the toiletries were very nice. Probably the nicest we've seen in Bali. The location was also great. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We tried many of them. And the beach is right across the road. It's a bit busy but it's a gorgeous beach. Oddly, they charge to visit it 15,000, but it's not much so we went everyday. Finally, the hotel was well tended to with so many staff tending to any issues around the facility. They were all friendly and helpful.

The hotel is just 50 meters from the beach, with a great breakfast and clean, comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly and the location is ideal, close to everything while still calm and relaxing. And BEAUTIFUL color!

Conveniently located, central area in relation to bars and restaurants and a walk across the road to the beach. The rooms themselves were clean and well equipped. Staff were very helpful in making our stay comfortable, extra towels, airport transportation and scooter rental.

Really enjoyed

Really clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. Pool was lovely and clean. Bike rental available with parking at the back of accommodation. Great breakfast! Mini fridge full of drinks if you wish. A lot of small details that really made the stay!

Some noise from being right beside the street but they provide ear plugs in the room which was a great touch!

Location is excellent. All staff friendly. Thanks to Clinton for helping me with my bags :) Pool area lovely. Rooms good and shower area was amazing. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Very good value!

It was absolutely fine for me but the property is on the main road so you can hear traffic. I slept really well and didn’t disturb me at all but others might be more sensitive to this. It is excellent location though so very small trade off.

Very quirky hotel . The location was great Beach right across from the hotel,you have to pay rp15000 pp. For entrance to the beach great for surfing and swimming. Shops and restaurants just up from hotel .

Chic stay in Uluwatu

Stayed for a around 2 days while visiting Uluwatu, we had a room right outside the pool which was lovely. The ac in the room was really good, the staff were also amazing. Always happy to help and offered free tea or coffee to the room which was a nice touch! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was extremely nice. Location wise it's right on the beach and easy to walk to and from restaurants and bars in the centre. The breakfast was excellent, especially the pancakes! Big thumbs up from us Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay, nice and quiet, great pool and extremely clean with lovely staff!

Staff were excellent, beautiful pool area, the bathroom was amazing with a brilliant shower (ground floor), close to the beach and restaurants. Lovely choice of breakfast. Very friendly and helpful.

I found the single bed very uncomfortable and could feel the springs of the mattress, I ended up sleeping on the duvet doubled over and laying on that. It could probably do with a mattress topper. The room also had an eggy smell. It wasn't the bathroom but in the room, not sure where it was from.

Mega friendly hotel stuff. Each of them! Especially Chelsea who helped soo much! I could even left my luggage for two nights and came back for one more night, everybody was so welcoming and kind! The location was perfect, rooms were clean with everything that you needed.

Great stay on top of Padang Padang beach

Amazing stay right at the earth of Uluwatu, the location couldn't be better as it is literally on the other side of the road of the famous Padang Padang point break and beach. Super friendly staff always ready to help and give us local tips and sort us everything we needed during our stay. Fast wifi was also a plus to do some work, they have 300mbps so it goes super smooth at all times. Totally recommend!

A pleasant stay

Beautiful property, with a pool and lovely, well-maintained common areas. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything you may need. Though the proximity to the main road, our room was very quiet. The breakfast is reach and delicious, served on the beautiful terrace. Excellent location, across the street from Padang-Padang Beach and just a few kilometers from Uluwatu and other beautiful beaches. All the staff were very friendly and always helpful: they arranged our airport transfer and helped us rent a scooter. Highly recommended!

A great oasis in busy Padang Padang, Uluwatu

We loved everything about this property, especially the staff. Agus was wonderful every day at breakfast. Rita, the owner was so gracious in explaining so many things about local culture and practices. The rest of the team was always so accommodating and lovely to engage with. The pool was lovely to come home to or to wake up to. The breakfast was exceptional as was the location. It was our little oasis in Padang Padang. We even doubled our stay after a couple of days. Our main reason for visiting Uluwatu was the surfing. We weren’t interested in the party scene, and this was the perfect place for the vibe we were looking for. Thank you to everyone at The Room Padang Padang!! We will definitely be back :)

Having travelled the world extensively this establishment service wise rates as one of the best we have stayed at.

Service was outstanding, Rita who is one of the owners,took time to chat with us and enlighten us about all things Bali, Annie was superb at the front desk, Agus was great with the breakfasts and Clinton was super helpful with all things that required a bit of heavy lifting.

Small but gorgeous and beyond practical

We booked this for one night, last minute as we wanted to arrive in Uluwatu early Staff are super friendly, rooms exceptionally clean, small but everything you need. Small but decent size pool with loungers, beautiful plants and decor. Great location, Padang Padang beach is basically across the road and lots of restaurants in walking distance
