The unlimited high quality coffee drinks were an outstanding perk. Pool area is relaxing despite the occasional traffic noise. Room is comfortable. Staff is friendly. Large breakfast, if you want it. Location across the street from one of the few swimmable beaches around Uluwatu, and very scenic to boot.
Some indonesian breakfast options would be nice. Traffic noise in parts of the hotel and when out walking detracts a bit from the relaxing vibe, but only a bit.

The location, staff, and swimming pool: a little nest away from busy Padang Padang, yet close to everything.

Absolutely loved my stay at The Room Padang Padang. Amazing friendly staff who are always there to welcome you and such a nice place to come back to after the beach or busy streets of Uluwatu.

I usually stay short periods of time at The Room, using it as a base when coming and going to other places within Indonesia, as it is a quick drive from the airport, and guarantees a good night of sleep, right at the heart of Bukit, especifically at the Uluwatu area. This time I stayed with a friend and we got exactly what we were after, a comfy bed, great breaky, relaxed by the pool, and even got lucky to see some of the surfers that came for the Padang Padang surf contest.
There's no place better than this! Thanks to the amazing staff that make me feel home
