San Angelo Luxury Resort & Spa - Adults Only

Hotel is in central Saranda and staff try their best. However, given that this resort is marketed as "luxury" that is far from the case. Coming in, parking was very limited and we had to park in the bushes above the resort as there was no room. The scanner lock on our room door had been broken off, no one even attempted to fix it. The room itself was tiny! Barely room for one bed. No robes were provided and only one set of towels. The light in the shower was out. We addressed it with the staff twice, it never got fixed or acknowleged while we were staying there. Breakfast was simple and basic, same thing every day with no variation. Restaurant menu was limited and verry overprices. The cushions on the outdoor beds and chairs were ripped, dirty and moldy. No attempt had been made to clean them. On the second day, a truck brought in enough Buddha statues that this modern hotel turned into a cartoon version of a Buddhist temple to the point where it was creepy. The pools were nice but we had to go to the far corner of the beach to get away from the "entertainment" which was a tone deaf lady caterwauling songs at an excessive volume so no one could get any rest. On the day we were checking out housekeeping realizes we were supposed to have a minibar in the room and finally stocked it. Resort relies heavily on contractes employees whose contract is 8 hour shifts but they are making them work 12 hour shifts which is highly unethical. Overall this is a 3 star resort at best that charges like a 5 star resort. We do not recommend. We were expecting a 5 star resort with appropriate service but instead were dissappointed. dont waste your money here.

I went to sarande with my wife to celebrate my birthday. The location of the hotel is great. We were greeted with a very courteous staff and the room was amazing with an awesome view. Thank you for making our stay memorable and we wish to come back again soon. Special mentions to Padma and Sushma at the restaurant and John at the reception.

Our stay at San Angelo was amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by lovely staff who made us feel truly welcome. Everyone was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. Special kudos to the Filipino staff—Richard, Mary, Darlene, and Jovie. I unfortunately cannot remember the names of the others, but I would also like to commend the night waiter and the Indian staff, who were all equally pleasant and professional. Their exceptional service is one of the main reasons we are eager to return. The hotel itself was beautifully designed and aesthetically appealing. We thoroughly enjoyed the pools, jacuzzi, and steam room, and felt that we definitely got great value for what we paid. The beach was also really nice—clean, relaxing, and a wonderful place to unwind while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Not to forget the buffet breakfast—it offered a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The manager was also very welcoming and highly professional, which added to the overall excellent experience. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend San Angelo to others. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Electricity problem in the room. Whole night no Ac or light. Self auto cut. Got bruised on my knee with no electricity. No staff to attend. No hot water in the shower No tea kettle Very bad experience. Very bad service. Receptionist doesn’t take any responsibility and the owner doesn’t pick up the phone. You are stuck if any problem arises. Think before you book.
