For me location is the most important part. Here, the location was very good. Piazza de San Marco, the heart of Venezia is only 10 minutes walk. Received excellent service from Claudia and Romona. Breakfast was good.

Wonderful stay. The rooms were as advertised, but what was outstanding was the staff. They were welcoming, helpful and thoughtful at every turn! Definitely recommend this small, boutique hotel. Breakfast spread was great, as was the wine and the view of the square. We could walk to most everywhere from here.

We had a lovely stay in Hotel Santo Stefano. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was located on a lovely square and was very convenient for sightseeing. I particularly liked that before we arrived the hotel contacted me to ask whether we wanted our rooms made up as doubles or twins. And they also booked our water taxi to the airport for us before we arrived.

Beautiful small boutique hotel with warm and friendly staff, who helped us with restaurant recommendations and anything we needed. Rooms are gorgeous, spacious enough and well air-conditioned. Breakfast was absolutely amazing; delicious and lots of different options from sweet to savory. Location is great.

Hotel was just fine for a great visit of Venice. The plaza it was in was wonderful at night, and was quiet in the after hours. There were restaurants near by and all the attractions of Venice were easily walkable. The hotel check in was quick and easy, the staff was wonderful, and room was cozy. There was free coffee, hair dryer available, and free water bottles. The walls are thin so noise transfers. I feel the location was perfect and I’d stay here again. I’d recommend. No issues or complaints.

Hotel Santo Stefano is a fantastic boutique hotel. The rooms are smallish (the nature of Venice architecture!) but beautifully appointed. The staff went out of their way to help us at every moment, the most invaluable help was with finding us places to eat. We had some of the best food we’ve ever had in Italy let alone Venice, and if you know anything about Venice it can be a mine field avoiding the tourist traps. The location is simply wonderful, such a beautiful square, and you are no more than a 5 minute walk to all the areas you’re likely to visit. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Staff were welcoming when we arrived. Annalisa was awesome went above and beyond to help us.The room was clean and looked like the photos.Bed, Bedding, pillows and towels all good condition. Water pressure was awesome. Morning breakfast was good we enjoyed sitting out at the patio tables in the evenings with a glass of wine(thier prices are good)

The perfect place to stay for our trip to Venice !! Located close to all we wanted to see and in a cute little square. The staff was super friendly and helpful ! We very much enjoyed sitting out on the little patio with a spritz and taking it all in ! Def recommend

It was a comfortable place located centrally to a plazzo I was doing a manuscript painting class. Loved the square the hotel is situated in. Lots of shops and places to eat. The staff were amazing. The receptionists were always helpful and friendly. Couldn’t do enough for me. They also arranged pick and drop off to the airport. This meant I was relaxed and not stressed about making my way from and to the airport. Had one of the best holidays. Really enjoyed the water taxi service 😊

Only stayed one night, but it was a lovely hotel. The front desk staff was so kind and helpful. Held our bags since we arrived early. The hotel and rooms are small but very nice (a very tight, winding staircase but we thought it was charming!), but it is in a beautiful square and easily walkable to everywhere we wanted to go. Would definitely recommend!

We were pleased that the hotel had a lift so we did not have to carry our heavy bags up the stairs. We walked to this hotel from the train station, which was about a 20 minute walk. We travelled with back packs, and would highly recommend that instead of rolling luggage if you will also be walking. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Property space is too cramped, claustrophobic. Faulty shower door caused flood in bathroom, when reported to staff they said "we will give you more towels"!! Really, that is your safety plan for customers! They did not have another room to move us, so we left and had to face the inconveniences with children. They refused the refund for the night we did not stay. I would not recommend this property to anyone.
