It is a brand-new clean, bright hotel, owned and operated by a family, Bobby, his wife and his parents Tim and Alli. The hotel is cool, with its Gershwin-themed rooms, Art Deco style, attention to detail (see the hand-stenciled walls). Alli's made-to-order breakfasts are just amazing. We have enjoyed learning about the area and its geology from Tim, who embodies "Minnesota Nice" in sunny California. There is an amazing beach with a view of the rock within walking distance. Downtown is a short drive away, with many reasonably-priced seafood restaurants. One can also hear and see otters and sea lions.

Great stay. Very nice, spacious, beautiful room. There was a lot of attention given to details. Everything was high quality. The owners were very kind. Even though we couldn't stay for breakfast, they offered us coffee and freshly baked muffins for the road. We will come back again!

Stay was very good. The entire hotel is newly renovated and caters to those that want a quiet place to stay off the beaten path. You're a 5 min drive from everything. The beach is right across the famous Hwy 1. Embarcadero is a short drive south to shops and scenery. But this establishment is a hidden gem. Gorgeous rooms ran by a friendly family that cares. Homemade breakfasts and baked goods daily. The hospitality you get here is lacking in today's big chains. Do yourself a favor, book here. Book often. Support small family businesses.

This is a family owned and ran hotel. We were treated so well by every member of the staff. The rooms were super nice, very clean and spacious. We walked across the street to a nice walking trail that paralleled the beach. The best part was the breakfasts. The owners made the breakfasts and they were amazing each day. Owner Tim, came by during breakfast and chatted with us for a respectful amount of time, then remembered our names during breakfast the next day. Again, everyone was so nice and helpful. Can’t help to think that we will come back. Do not hesitate to stay here, you won’t regret it!!!

AN ABSOLUTE GEM! The rooms are brand new and immaculate, with ultra-modern features yet classic and unique decor. Beautiful view of Morro Rock and the ocean. But what makes the property so special is the warmth and friendliness of the husband and wife who own and operate it. We felt instantly at home upon meeting them. You will be the served the most delicious made-to-order breakfast you’ve ever had, you will love the home-baked cookies every evening, you will appreciate the thick and GIGANTIC bath towels, and so much more. Rhapsody in View will definitely be our first choice whenever we visit the Central Coast!

Rhapsody in View is definitely worth a visit. Bobby and Kezia are amazing and have created a beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Love is in the Air Suite. The room was spotless, huge, and beautifully decorated. There were cute matching appliances with plenty of dishes and silverware for you to eat meals in your room. The towels and linens were quality and clean with massive, over sized towels for when you wanted to use the pool sized soaking tub. The view from the balcony is great too. What stands out most though is the service. When ordering breakfast ahead of our stay I mentioned that our son has type 1 diabetes. Not only did Bobby a Kezia go out of their way to make sure that there were lower carb breakfast options, each day we were there Kezia baked a low carb, diabetes friendly afternoon treat alongside her other amazing baked goods. The care and thoughtfulness they showed stands out and sets Rhapsody in View apart from all other places you could choose to stay.
