Decent value for money for what you pay. It’s not the greatest hotel in the world but it does the job. Really neat feature was the ice cold water at the reception with bottles supplied. Only a short walk from Sesto Rondo metro station allowing for easy transport around the city and only a 10 minute walk from Carroponte.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. It was in a great location very close to the metro! The rooms are not updated, but clean. Showers are tiny, so you may need to consider that. We couldn't get the air conditioning to work, so we had the windows open. Breakfast was pretty good. I would not rule out staying there again. It was a neat experience.

This hotel was perfectly adequate for our needs. Conveniently located next to the metro and only 15-20 minutes to the centre of Milan. It wasn't fancy, and the area the hotel was in wasn't the best, but if you need a clean little hotel, this should be up on your list!

Receptionist are kind and welcoming. But, I got mislead by the ratings. I often stay at hostels, so I’m used of places that aren’t fancy or super clean. I don’t care if it’s old, which this hotel is, but I like to have some cleanliness and hot water. When you enter the area where the rooms are, you immediately smell an old ”smoke smell”. Don’t know if it was allowed to smoke in the hotel back in time, but some sort of smell is always in the background. The first thing I see is a silverfish on the bathroom floor. There is old limescale, some of it turned brown, over the faucet in the sink and in the shower cabinet and the shower head (there was black dust or ash, I honestly don’t know, at the top of the shower cabinet + old hairs). Bathroom door can't close because the wood at the bottom is damaged. After you’ve flushed, the water is dripping. Managed somehow to make it stop the next day. You hear other guests taking showers, flushing, snoring. Had to wait 20 minutes for hot water in the shower. Many furnitures are damaged.  There is no elevator so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. You can’t pay the city tax with card, only cash, they told me they don’t want to pay the card trasmission fee. Didn’t get a receipt of it. This hotel needs a good makeover. If that's not possible, start with a deep, deep clean. Try get rid of the smell, change old carpet in the main area, change old lamps in room+bathroom. Get rid of towels with yellow stains. Clean remote control.

It was a lively time at this hotel, the transport si very close to the location and in just 20 minutes you can get into the city centre. The staff was lovely and very friendly. I stayed in a single room, plenty space and just about right. However, one thing to mention, the shower cabin was minuscule, very difficult for me to take a shower. The cabin was probably really tiny and very hard to take a shower in. The breakfast was vast and plenty of food. Overall, a really nice experience! I recommend!

We had a good time staying at Nuovo Rondò. The hotel was clean and had everything we needed. Although it appears far from central Milan, there’s the M1 train service that runs frequently and the journey takes about 25 minutes; the Sesto Rondò station is walking distance from hotel. Also near the hotel is a patisserie, gelato shop, and the Il Gigante supermarket, which was very convenient. I felt safe in the neighbourhood. Thank you for the room!

Hotel is friendly family run hotel. Staff are really helpful. Rooms are not modern but are big and well maintained. Hotel is really clean. Breakfast is adequate and plenty of it. The hotel is 3 minute walk from the M1 metro line which is really useful. Around the hotel are a few bars and restaurants but overall it's a quiet area. Highly recommended.

We are a family of 4 and the room had sufficient space for us, hotel is located about 300 mts from the metro station which makes it ideal to getting back and forth to city center. Rooms were basic but clean and offer a good night sleep. Good security the hotel looks the door at night but there's a person that stays in the lobby for anybody that gets back after hours. The hotels sits in the middle of pedestrian only plaza with several business around, unfortunately we were there right at holiday season so most of them were closed. The couple in charge of the hotel were very friendly and very helpful, did not speak english but we were able to communicate. The airline lost our luggage and they were kind enough to point us in the right direction to buy clothes and let us use their electrical adapters for our electronics. We would definitely stay there again.
