We arrived at around 8 PM, only to be told that the hotel could no longer accommodate us and that we had supposedly been notified that morning through Expedia that we were being moved to their sister hotel. The problem was that we had booked through Agoda, so we had never received this notification.
The front desk staff member, Pierre, handled the situation extremely poorly. Rather than apologizing or acknowledging the inconvenience, he was defensive throughout the conversation and repeatedly threatened to give us the “bad room” instead of the alternative arrangements they had made. When we explained that we had specifically booked this hotel because it was only an 8-minute walk from the train connection into the city centre, he insisted that the replacement hotel was only slightly farther away and disputed what we were telling him, despite the fact that the replacement required an additional bus transfer.
Thankfully, the large tour group whose arrival had apparently caused the overbooking had one guest who did not show up, so we were ultimately able to get a room at the hotel after all.
What made the situation particularly frustrating was that Pierre never once apologized for the inconvenience. His attitude remained defensive and passive-aggressive throughout our interaction, which made an already stressful situation significantly worse.
Unfortunately, the room itself also had issues. The shower water repeatedly fluctuated between hot and cold, making it very difficult to shower comfortably.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, particularly for a hotel advertised as 4-star. Overbooking can happen, but the way the situation was handled was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Staff were very helpful, the first room we got was so hot but after we told them they changed our room. The breakfast was so good and totally everything was so clean

The WiFi did not work. The air conditioning came on once during our stay.
It might have been 4 stars many years ago but this hotel should no be more than a 2.
The location is close to a mall and the metro line those are pluses.
