Decent hotel for the price. Provided good bed shower and TV. Didn’t sample breakfast but you can get great coffee next door, although the machine coffee at the hotel is free. Convenient for the train station, nice quiet area. Lighting in the room could be made better, one strong spotlight by a mirror would be helpful.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. I just found the room to be quite dusty. Also the pictures advertised for the superior room on the website where a bit deceptive as the room i got was just a standard looking room. When checking in we where sent to a "sister hotel" 3 minutes down the road and where told it had the same facilities but it didnt. It was more like a hostel. There was no reception/facilities such as a bar etc. All it had was a kitchenette in the entrance and seating. When i booked the rooms it mentioned bottled water in the rooms. There was none and the lobby area didnt even have a vending machine or anything. So after arriving late enough we had to leave again to go find a shop just to get some water. So overall it was a bad experience. Not sure how this is rated a 4 star hotel. The main hotel maybe but the "sister hotel" not a chance.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall pleasant experience. Although I was initially surprised to be moved to a different room in a nearby hotel just four minutes away, the transition was smooth and the new room was comfortable and well-maintained. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, providing a cozy atmosphere. While the breakfast could have been better—it felt more like a simple spread rather than a full buffet—it was still enjoyable. While I had expected a more boutique feel based on the hotel's advertisement, the facilities, though decent, didn't fully align with that image. Nonetheless, the stay was comfortable, and the hospitality was commendable. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for convenience and comfort with a touch of charm.

The property is very nice and walkable from the central station. Everything else was super nice but one thing that bothered me was the room was very dark due to the black wallpapers and less intensity lights. You can hardly see anything inside the room.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this hotel experience was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. First, the amenities were either outdated, broken, or non-existent. What was advertised online did not reflect reality. The photos and descriptions were extremely misleading — what looked like a modern, clean space turned out to be poorly lit, worn down, and neglected. The lighting in the room and hallways was terrible, creating an uninviting and almost unsafe atmosphere. It was dim, with some bulbs not even working. The surrounding area of the hotel also felt sketchy and uncomfortable, which made coming and going a stressful experience, especially at night. Service was another major issue. Staff were inattentive and at times outright rude. Requests for basic things (like fresh towels or help with room issues) were either ignored or met with attitude. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. Between the misleading listing, lack of upkeep, poor service, and bad location, I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere.

The property is close to the Rotterdam Central, quick walk to restaurants, laundry and a bakery. The night staff at the hotel were very helpful, I would stay at the hotel again. Rooms are small compared to North America, normal for Europe.

Price wise it was good, but the room was very small and very dark. I think one of the main light wasnt working. Unfortunately we saw two strange bugs in our toilet for two consecutive nights which made us really nervous. We also booked non-refundable stay but requested if the hotel manager can refund us two nights out of four as a courtesey because we had urgent matter to attend but they refused. The lighting and bug made our experience not too great. The area also looked a bit shady. It is 15 mins walk to the central station and 20 mins tram ride to major attractions (more than 35 mins walk i believe)

Upon arrival was shocked that i had to leave a 200 euro deposit as it wasn’t mentioned anywhere when booking. The room was cute and clean but it was tiny compared to the photos. also tried to shower and had to pause every two minutes because the drain didn’t work properly and was going to flood the bathroom. could also hear other guests talking and walking around hallways and laughing all night. overall nice but slightly underwhelming.

So the pros of this property are that it was my boyfriend’s birthday and they kindly got balloons and gave us complimentary drinks which was nice. The hotel is in a great location close to transport links as well as touristy areas. The cons are that the breakfast was not worth the money, lacked variety and didn’t have basic things such as normal ketchup . Would definitely recommend this by Jarmusch which does brunch. Another con was the soundproofing is horrible in the hotel although they gave us ear plugs this didn’t help Another con is the smell the hotel had a horrible smell all over that smelt of sewage

It was a very enjoyable stay. We were a bit surprised that we needed to park on the street but more so at how expensive it was. Our only complaint about the room is that it was very dark. The decor was black/brown and only a few overhead lights. Very difficult to see for shaving or writing at the desk etc. Very comfortable bed.
