As advertised. A pleasant stay. (Ask for the popes room 😉 one was born there). Nice traditional but upgraded use of a 1400s building. A bit loud outside so again ask for a soundproofed room. But right at the chapel so busy area.

We stayed in the suite and it was nice to have 2 bedrooms. The rooms are a nice size and the bed was comfortable. The customer service was great!

The location is excellent, across a very small piazza from the steps of the Baptistery; essentially, it's behind the Duomo. Everything we wanted to see was in easy walking distance. From the window of our room (#4) we could see Basilica San Domenico in the distance. Staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well (important as temperatures were in the 80s). My only complaint--a small one--is that the shower in our room was an odd glass box at the foot of the bed; perfectly functional, and I suppose it had to go somewhere in a room that was otherwise hundreds of years old. Not really a problem so much as a quirk. We loved our stay, and would stay at Il Battistero again.

Wonderful location!!! Everything within walking distance. Friendly staff, clean modern room. Shower needs repairing. Will definitely return to stay here. If you are driving to the hotel, It’s a ZTL zone so contact the hotel to make arrangements for your car to be garaged. Don’t need a car here. It is in the best location!!!

Center location! It’s close to everything, especially the town square. We loved everything about it. The host was very communicative and provided restaurant recommendations. We had a rental car and opted for option 1. The drivers were on time as well.

The service at this hotel was impeccable. We were running late for our wine tasting but they were still SO accommodating! The rooms were beautiful and the view from the hotel are amazing. It was super accessible to everything. Also, the parking options were great - highly recommend. They're so responsive through texting and it was great to have this level of service. Highly rec!

The staff was exceptionally warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for local dining and sightseeing. Their hospitality made us feel like we were truly part of the city’s rich heritage. Breakfast was delightful, with fresh pastries, fruits, and quality coffee, all enjoyed in a charming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury with authentic Tuscan character, Il Battistero Siena is it. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siena.
