Even before you arrive you are aware, it will be special. Three impressions. Everybody who works there smiles.The attention to detail is just outstanding . What ever you need is removed as a problem and a perfect solution is instantly made available. And this continues every day.Outstanding!! It is close or maybe is our most favorite hotel

This is a fantastic grand hotel right in the centre of Siena. It’s is luxuriously done out. The bar is amazing and we had a tour of the wine cellar which was superb to see. The sommelier was so kind and informative. All the staff were brilliant and very helpful with everything we needed. We didn’t take breakfast but had a cocktail in the fabulous lounge and bar area. Would definitely stay here again.
The one small niggle was that our air con was a bit noisy. And being on the front of the hotel, the room we had, had a fair bit of noise from passing night animals !! The air con helped to block that out I guess

Our room 228 was disappointing for the cost. Quite small and not what we would term as “luxury” in a 5* hotel
The 5% “optional” service which we have noticed that other hotels in the Star Hotels Collezione try to charge on departure (eg The Gore in London). The cost should already be included. Other hotels do not seem to do this.
