B&B Siena In Centro - Diffuso

I was perfectly happy with the hotel, the location was excellent, it was a good price and my single room was entirely adequate for an overnight stay. The room was clean and the owner/manager was friendly and helpful.

The air conditioning in my room wasn't great and the fan in the room was very noisy (and it was hot in Siena).

Location, it was excellent. Nice room if a little small. Really friendly hostess. Close to good eateries.

B&b that does not offer breakfast! No a/c and it was roasting.

A very good hotel and very centrally located -- convenient for exploring Sienna. Worth noting that it's a "albergo diffuso" with rooms in a number of buildings, so the experience may differ somewhat between rooms and buildings. One thing that won't change is that the owner was very friendly and helpful, and responded quickly to requests. They were also ok with me checking in a little earlier than the normal time. My room was comfortable with a fan to cool the room, but without a full AC system -- probably only an issue in the height of summer. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and the Duomo is just a short stroll away.

The light in the bathroom in my room was on a timer that was hard to trigger from the shower so it would cut out when showering. Not impossible to get around, and I managed to figure out how to trigger it eventually, but a little annoying. This is a minor issue, and it is overall a great place to stay.

For Bedan breakfast there is no breakfast and they're very little basic amenities. Not even some teabags or coffee in the unit.
